SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card (100314-3L )
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card (100314-3L )

Pros: Haven't had the chance to play a lot of games yet. Skyrim is playing smooth on ultra but i'm using an old monitor that only supports 1280x1024. Looks pretty enough for me.

Cons: No problems for me at all. Drivers installed just fine. No hiccups. Barely a stutter here or there in skyrim and thats probably because im using an ide hdd.

Overall Review: Good card. It'll play anything out right now with a decent price tag and its well built. It's not overly loud at all.

Most Critical Review

It might be good.

ASRock 890FX Deluxe4 AM3+ Note: Supported by BIOS P1.60 or later. AMD 890FX USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: It looks cool.

Cons: BIOS are 1.5 thus my fx 4100 CPU won't work. I can't even get video signal. I thought I'd at least get something. I called 15 PC repair shops and tried craigslist for a cheap socket am3 with no luck. All I get from the start is constant code 00 from the mobo. I tried emailing asrock and its been two days with no answer. If you decide to mail it back it'll cost you $15 +shipping and at least two weeks to get it back.

Overall Review: Don't get this board unless you have another am3 socket CPU handy, its a major headache.

It works

Overall Review: I was kinda of skeptical of this brand. I was looking for a cheap PSU and found this one on pcpartpicker. Looked it up on Newegg and BLACK FRIDAY DEAL. So I bought it and then realized their black Friday deal was the normal price everywhere else. Uh..... Okay thanks. PSU works fine after 2 weeks.

PowerColor Hellhound Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card RX7800XT 16G-L/OC

Overall Review: Probably a decent upgrade from my 3060ti but I didn't really need to upgrade for the games I play. My cpu is a 3600x so, lot of games are CPU bottlenecked. I can still see a difference but it's not amazing. There is a black screen issue when you use Freesync for some reason. Initially I thought it to be an issue with my 600w PSU. I installed a new 850w PSU and still get black screen which is like it's changing resolution mid game so definitely Freesync as I do not have that issue with it turned off. For anyone coming from 2000s Nvidia series it would be an amazing upgrade but coming from my 3060ti it is a relatively small difference. Still a great card that should last me a few years.

Arctic Silver CMQ2-2.7G Céramique 2 Tri-Linear Ceramic Thermal Compound
Arctic Silver CMQ2-2.7G Céramique 2 Tri-Linear Ceramic Thermal Compound

Pros: I'm sure it works okay for some people.

Cons: I used this on my stock intel HSF and the cpu in my system at stock settings was close to 90c! (4670k). Just ridiculous. I've not installed a ton of cpu's but I have installed all of them on every pc ive built in the last 15 years and never had a problem. And this suff isn't great for me. I think it spread just fine. When I removed the HSF to install my water cooler the paste was even and minimal with a little pushed off the cpu. My h100i brought down my temps to 65 full load for ten minutes. Not totally knocking this paste but people have better temps with intel stock paste that comes on the HSF.

Overall Review: I wouldn't buy it again. Go for arctic silver 5 unless you have to have something that's not conductive. You can spend the extra 5 bucks.

Really great cpu

Intel Core i5-4670K - Core i5 4th Gen Haswell Quad-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 1150 84W Intel HD Graphics Desktop Processor - BX80646I54670K
Intel Core i5-4670K - Core i5 4th Gen Haswell Quad-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 1150 84W Intel HD Graphics Desktop Processor - BX80646I54670K

Pros: i5 4670k is smokin' fast. I upgraded from an fx 4100 @ 4.4 ghz and this thing doubled my cpu score on every benchmark i've tried without OC'ing. I thought my 4100 was decent but it turns out it was bottlenecking my gtx 760 pretty bad. I went from 20 fps in a crowded city to roughly 90. That's ridiculous. WoW is clearly a cpu dependent game. For anyone who plays wow, to put it in perspective, With my fx 4100 in Isle of conquest when you meet in the middle, roughly 30-40 people on your screen at once. Fx 4100 yielded single digits, unplayable. 4670k yields fantasticly playable framerates in the 40-50s. This is on high settings. I can play ultra but it doesnt look any better. To sum it up, great great cpu. This is my first intel CPU in about 15 years. AMD just isn't in the game right now. If I were on more of a budget i'd probably spring for an 8350. From now on I'll probably buy intel products until AMD show's me something fun. My fx 4100 was such a let down. Bulldozer zambezei was all hype. It'll OC like crazy (I got mine to boot at 5ghz with stock cooler), but anything comparable by intel will spank it and make it sit in the corner.

Cons: The only terrible....and I do mean terrible thing about intel is how bad their stock HSF is. I can not believe how trashy this thing is. I have been using my AMD stock cooler and have had fantastic luck with my fx cpu. OC'd it almost a full ghz on it. This intel HSF is in a whole new level of garbage. They use about as much aluminum as youd get from a couple soda bottles and a tiny disc of copper. I used some arctic silver on my stock HSF and today I did a prime95 test and it reached 88c before i stopped it. Not even a full ten minutes. This is absolutely unacceptable even for a stock HSF. You shouldn't HAVE to buy an aftermarket cooler for stock settings. Hopefully I just used too much paste, didn't get it seated right or something stupid. If I get a new HSF and can't OC it i'm going to be pretty let down.

Overall Review: Stock HSF temps aside, this cpu is a beast. I'm super happy with my purchase and I can't wait to get a new cooler to see what it can really do. My PC goes from power off to windows desktop in 3-4 seconds with my SSD and this cpu. Just ridiculous performance. Just buy it......with an aftermarket cooler.
