Good case

Pros: Plenty of room, and much better air flow than any case I've had in the past. It was easy to transfer my MB, drives, and power supply from the old case to this one. It came with all of the screws I needed, along with the quick install sliding thingies for the hard drives. Packaged pretty well for shipping, too.
Cons: Needs something more than carpet under it for good air flow to the power supply. I ended up putting a piece of wood under the case to ensure that air could move under there.
Overall Review: It was a little tight on the side of the case for the SATA cables. I had to make sure I used right angle connectors so there was no pressure on them from the side panel. The case light is not too bright, and the fans are quiet. I also appreciate how the power and reset buttons are near the top front of the case, out of reach of my cat!
4 years old and still working

Pros: I've had this MB since 2010, and it has been on 24/7 every day since I got it. It has just worked.
Cons: The USB-3 has been a little iffy. If the hub on that port burps, then I have to restart Linux to get it to recognize it again. The burps are usually me doing something dumb with the devices plugged in.
Overall Review: It was an economical board at the time, and has survived being on constantly for 4 years. I've overclocked it to run a 2.97Ghz I3 CPU at 4Ghz, day in and day out. No problems. The only reason I'm commenting now is that my power supply fan died, and I was looking at the original order from Newegg to see what I bought back then.
What reboots?

Pros: This MB has been running 24/7 for the past 6 months without a glitch (that I didn't cause). I like how it operates, the large number of USB ports, the graphics connectors (with an i3 - 530 processor as a source) and great sound. This machine is used for recording TV shows, sometimes 3 at a time. Playback works great, as does using it for playing all of my music.
Cons: I had some problems with the USB-3 ports and my external backup drive. They work ok with my uC controllers and the keyboard/mouse receivers so it isn't a big deal.
Overall Review: I don't understand why so many people are complaining about reboots. I'm running Fedora 14 linux and reboot maybe once a month. The only glitch I has was with a bad usb device that prevented the MB from getting past the bios screen. On other MB's I've seen reboot problems with undersized/bad power supplies. I've got a 650W supply for my machine given that there are 3 HD's, the DVD and 2 TV cards in it. It just works well, and I'm thinking of getting another to create a Windows machine.
Good board

Pros: This board installed and configured easily. With just a few simple changes to the bios I was able to overclock an i3 processor to 3.54Ghz without any BSOD issues. I appreciate all of the usb ports on this, as I have a usb wireless keyboard/mouse, an all-in-one card reader, a couple of printers, external hard disk and a microcontroller programmer. Having plenty of SATA connectors on the board is also great, since I have 3 hard drives and a DVD R/W connected that way.
Cons: Fedora 13 is not that happy with devices plugged into the USB 3 ports. They work, but generate extra error messages in Linux. Setting up the SATA for AHCI is a little confusing. Every time you change it you have to reset the hard drive boot priority.
Overall Review: This was a good value for me. I mainly use the machine for programming exercises and as a HTPC. It has both a PCI TV card and a Hauppage TV PCI/express card so it can record 3 programs at once, which it does without any problems. I'm running dual monitors using both the HDMI and DivX connectors. The Intel i3 CPU is doing the work for the graphics and does fairly well. It isn't fast enough for gaming, but it plays back TV programs without any problem. 4Gb of memory is more than enough for me.
Nice board

Pros: Good options for video output, lots of USB choices and SATA availability. Fairly easy to install and configure with pretty good documentation. Overclocking with some trial and error to be expected. Decent price.
Cons: Came with firmware F6. Downloaded F10 and upgraded without a problem. Not sure why it came with F6, given that F7 is the first firmware for this Rev 2 board
Overall Review: Room for memory, a large arctic cooler fan for the cpu, and both PCIe and PCI slots for my TV cards. Used as an HTPC and general desktop PC running Fedora Linux. The intel I3 processor does ok with most tv playback through mplayer. It would be nice to have a graphics card, but they cost as much as this motherboard, and I don't play games. Overclocked the i3 530 2.93 Ghz up to 3.52 easily with DDR3 1600 memory. Got lucky and happened to have a PSU that supported the EPS12V needs of this motherboard. I love all the USB and SATA availability.
Works very well

Pros: Very good temp control on the I3 processor. Easy to install. Quiet fan. Came with compound on it, and it seems to work well.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Sits a bit high, so make sure your case is deep enough. Depending on where your memory sticks are, you might have to have the fan pointed a different direction. Easy enough to do, and the fan mount looks simple enough that if it does fail it would be eary to replace.
