Great so far

Pros: Picture: Good colors, good focus, plenty bright Interface: Easy to connect to computer, easy to adjust picture and navigate menus Aesthetics: It's a very nice-looking machine. It looks sleek and solid.
Cons: Kicks off a lot of heat. Sit on the wrong side of this thing, and you'll cook. The options to adjust the yaw (or is it pitch? roll?) are limited, such that if the image on the screen is tilted in a certain direction, you can't tilt it away from that angle, because the foot on the back right corner is already all the way in. That's easily fixed with a folded bit of paper under the other foot, of course, but I'd rather not have to do that.
Overall Review: I got this to replace a BenQ projector that I bought in 2008 and used extensively for the subsequent 4 years. The DLP wheel eventually gives out, i guess, and so I replaced my old projector, which functioned perfectly for 3 years and serviceably for another year after that. I like the BenQ projectors because the lamps last a good long time, the picture is good enough (not HD, mind you, but good enough) and they're easy to use. I don't recommend replacing your lamp when the time comes for it. It's expensive and a big hassle, and by the time you're replacing the lamp, other parts of the machine are wearing out. This is all to say that if you want a projector to use in a classroom, at home (to watch movies), or even in a workplace, and you're not worried about it being a little bulky, this is a good option.
Worst consumer experience of my life

Pros: It arrived in one piece.
Cons: 1. The first unit they shipped me functioned for approximately two hours. It then froze up and refused to reboot. 2. My request for return took them a week to respond to. 3. When I finally received my RMA, I shipped the unit back. 4. It took them another two weeks to ship me the replacement. 5. The replacement was both NOT the item I ordered, and was also dead on arrival. It didn't even boot to the OS. 6. I contacted newegg immediately upon receiving the defective and wrong item, but did not hear back from them despite repeated attempts to reach them. Finally, I threatened to dispute my charge through my credit card company, and they responded. 7. I immediately shipped the second (defective and incorrect) PC back to newegg, and it took them two weeks to post my refund.
Overall Review: In short, I am through dealing with Newegg. My net experience with them in attempting to purchase this product was 5 dollars of shipping money lost, as well as a great deal of my time and gas money spent shipping my defective items back to the company. There was a time when newegg was the gold standard in computers and electronics, both new and refurbished. I can't speak to their new items, but their refurbished items are apparently total garbage. It saddens me to see a once-great company fall so low, but that's the way it goes. Oh, and one last bit: they promised to have someone contact me to "follow up" and "investigate" what happened and why I received the wrong item. I have yet to hear a word from them three weeks later. This company offers low prices, but I could also do that if I provided horrible service and defective equipment.
Item arrived nonfunctional

Pros: Impossible to assess -- this item was nonfunctional on arrival.
Cons: I turned it on, plugged it into a wall charger and into the computer, reset the unit, and tried every other trick I could find. No matter what, the item would only stay turned on for 30 seconds, then power itself off. Even hooked into the power supply, it still turned itself off and on over and over. Do not buy.
Overall Review: It's tempting to buy this thing, because apparently some other users have had good luck with it. I did not. I don't recommend taking a gamble on it.
Nice little player

Pros: Good storage for price -- not a bad price for all-flash 4 gigs. Expandable storage -- I can use microSD up to 8 gigs. I tried 16 and the player won't recognize it. Not sure whether I'm doing something wrong or if it's the hardware I'm trying to use. Clear display -- easy to read, not too cluttered. Easy to use interface -- It takes a little getting used to, navigating the machine, but I caught on quite quickly without using the instructions. Also, loading music onto this machine is quite intuitive. My linux machine just treats it as a hard drive, and I can drag and drop files onto it. Great radio reception -- I like to listen to radio for the news, but my old Sansa got horrible reception. This one gets fantastic reception. I don't know what they changed, but it is great now.
Cons: If anything, this thing is TOO small. I have big, hammy fingers and hands, so I have trouble with the buttons sometimes. Also, it has an internal battery, not a removable triple-A like the old Sansa. Could be a pain on long trips without a computer or whatever. This probably isn't a huge deal, though.
Overall Review: If you don't need to carry all your music around with you, you want a durable and small machine with an easy-to-understand interface, and you want a little space to expand the memory, this is the machine for you.
Sturdy Little Flash Drive

Pros: Good price for storage Sturdy construction Small in size Reasonably fast read speeds
Cons: Relatively slow write speeds No lanyard attachment
Overall Review: Expanding on Pros and Cons: Good price for storage -- self explanatory, but I never bought from A-DATA before, so I was pleasantly surprised at the value here. Sturdy construction -- I just ran this thing through the washer AND dryer (accidentally) and IT STILL RUNS. Wow. Also, it has taken other abuse (dropping, having things dropped on it, etc) and is still in one piece. Also, the endcap stays on VERY sturdily. Almost annoyingly so, or it would be annoying if I weren't used to flash drives with flimsily attached caps. Small in size -- It does have a low profile, which is good. It's a little on the long side, oddly enough, but it is quite thin and light. Reasonably fast read speeds -- This has not been even remotely an issue for me. Relatively slow write speeds -- This is only annoying when moving really big files or a lot of files at once. Otherwise, it's not a huge deal. No lanyard attachment -- self explanatory.
Lousy

Pros: Cheap, lightweight, compact.
Cons: One of the two fans stopped working after about a week.
Overall Review: If your laptop only needs one side to be cooled (the left side), this would be good for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Hunk of junk.
