loud
Pros: Paid: $5+$2 shipping does its job. 3 degrees lower temp on average on my sabertooth MB.
Cons: loud. loudest fan in my case. crosair 600T.
Overall Review: If you are buying an assistant fan drop 5 more on it and get something consistently quiet.
Not so pro
Pros: Decent battery life. The i5 is a power house
Cons: Just seems to be more trouble then its worth. May be the new OS, but i have to restart to connect to a new wifi (new as in when i move from work to home.) Same with plugging in hdmi. always needs a restart. Just seems a bit dull for prime time. also a bit of bloat-ware. In a HTPC sense it can stand on its own. Been running netflix with out problem. Haven't tried any other formats, but from my experience if it can netflix its fine. Bought it full price only to have a $100 newegg gift card promo come out. Probably not the best buy when i bought it, even tougher sell now. CPU: i5 2500k (OC 4.1) GPU: GTX 570 MB: P67 Sabertooth Ram: 2x4G 1600 vengence HD: 2x256 MB samsung 840 Case: corsair 600T
Overall Review: I bought a note 8 tablet and needed a full windows OS for work. Took it back Tried the ativ (i think, bought from att.) only to have it take way to long to load anything from a web page to a refresh on the OS itself (took 5 hours to try and remove the bloat-ware and reformat.) Bought it hoping to end these problems. I'm guessing I'm leaning to hard on the laptop in compare to a PC.
