*EDITED* Bad Power Connector Port

APRICORN ADW-USB-KIT IDE/PATA/SATA to USB HDD Adapter
APRICORN ADW-USB-KIT IDE/PATA/SATA to USB HDD Adapter

Pros: Great for cloning, extracting data and etc.
Simple and very easy to use.
Connects to all kinds of HDDs.
Even includes a bootable CD to clone drives. Extra awesome.
Overall great product.

Cons: This might just pertain to just me but it seems after about a couple months of using this product, the male side of the AC adapter connector on the DriveWire itself is not connecting properly.

Unfortunately I discovered this issue when I was in the process of taking a look at a customer's hard drive and the slightest movement in the wire would lose contact with the adapter and therefore suddenly lose power to the hard drive connected. Of course, this could easily cause hard drive problems with sudden disconnections especially while data is being accessed or extracted.

Unfortunately for me, I had to cut out the serial number on the bottom in order to utilize the $10 money back coupon. According to Apricorn's warranty policy, any item without a serial number will be voided of any warranty. Seems saving a mere ten dollars wasn't worth it... I inquired for a replacement due to the issues mentioned above and they sent me a new replacement. Great product but keep in mind of the issues.

ASUS VS248H-P 24" 1920 x 1080 Full HD VGA DVI HDMI Asus Eye Care with Ultra Low-Blue Light & Flicker-Free LED Backlit LCD Monitor
ASUS VS248H-P 24" 1920 x 1080 Full HD VGA DVI HDMI Asus Eye Care with Ultra Low-Blue Light & Flicker-Free LED Backlit LCD Monitor

Pros: This monitor is absolutely amazing. The brightness was something to get used to. I had a cheap HP 19" before this one which was a major upgrade. Price is great considering size and features. (I got a great deal during black friday) There are a lot of settings in this monitor. Some I'm not even familiar with. There are multiple viewing modes and most of them I highly doubt I will use. There are three inputs for video which is just excellent and what I was looking for. Just in case I switch to HDMI or hook up an older computer with VGA.

Cons: Now onto the cons! When I unboxed this, I noticed the screws on the back were kinda scratched which indicates usage or turned and opened screws. I didn't pay that much mind, I was too excited! For a week or two, I kept the plastic wrapping on the screen but just recently, I removed it all and I see the glossy front bezel on the monitor had scratches. It looked like scratches from someone cleaning and wiping the bezel. The scratches run parallel with the bezel sides and there are also some stray random ones as well. On the stand that the monitor sits upon, there are also faint scratches as well. I can tell this monitor was definitely used. I haven't had any issues like everyone else has said such as dead pixels or anything and I'm not sure if I want to RMA this or return it and have to pay for return shipping. A tough spot to be in. I really hope ASUS made some sort of mistake in shipping.

Overall Review: The build quality of this monitor feels kinda flimsy and cheap. Cheap in terms of weight because it's really light and wobbly. (Maybe I'm not used to it?) Any movements on the desk I have the monitor on, will shake and wobble the whole monitor. Another thing to consider is the fact that this monitor does not have any internal speakers. Make sure you have external speakers before purchasing this. I had to spend a couple days with headphones plugged in all the time before I got some speakers. Another nuisance I noticed was that at times, the button to turn it on/off sometimes doesn't click on just right and I would have to re-press the button. Sometimes it just misses. Not much of a big deal.
