SAMSUNG 830 Series 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) F-MZ-7PC064DAM
SAMSUNG 830 Series 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) F-MZ-7PC064DAM

Pros: I have been using this as a boot drive with a few applications for several months now, and have been consistently blown away by the speed of this drive.

Cons: These are still a bit expensive, but are worth the splurge if you value OS responsiveness and boot times.

Overall Review: When I bought this (November 2011), it came with a code to download Batman: Arkham City. These drivers are killer, though, and are worth the price with or without that bonus.

Rock Solid

Rosewill RK-9000BR - Mechanical Keyboard with Cherry MX Brown Switches
Rosewill RK-9000BR - Mechanical Keyboard with Cherry MX Brown Switches

Pros: This keyboard is well-built and feels wonderful. The brown switches are extremely responsive; I have had no issues during typing or gaming sessions. The red metal backplate is just noticeable enough to be a nice accent, and is not distracting in the least. Rumors that these Rosewill keyboards are just rebrands of Filco boards are likely true. What a bargain for such a great keyboard!

Cons: The blue indicator LEDs for caps, number, and scroll locks are very, very bright. They point straight up from the face of the keyboard; while they look very nice while sitting down and typing, standing up above the keyboard hits you with a flash of blue light. If you were planning on using this at a standing desk, or you normally keep your keyboard lower than normal, you will want to darken the clear plastic above the LEDs with a marker or other implement.

Overall Review: Overall, this is a great buy. Having used more expensive Filco boards in the past, I feel that you're essentially buying one for 30-40% less than you would normally pay.

Amazing

Muramasa: Demon Blade Wii Game
Muramasa: Demon Blade Wii Game

Pros: The art direction in this game is unbelievable. The combat is fun, interesting, and has a high skill ceiling. The game pushes you gradually with a steady increase in difficulty; it really gets hard towards the end! There are lots of optional challenges to push you further.

Cons: Some battles become monotonous after you get used to enemy compositions. This does not occur often, though, as most portions of the game are well-paced and varied.

Perfect!

Rosewill Anti-Static Wrist Strap ESD Anti Shock Wristband Bracelet (Packaging May Vary) - RTK-002
Rosewill Anti-Static Wrist Strap ESD Anti Shock Wristband Bracelet (Packaging May Vary) - RTK-002

Pros: It does exactly what you want it to do. Does not feel cheap at all, and will probably last me forever.

Cons: None.

Great cooling, painful installation

CORSAIR Hydro Series H100 (CWCH100) Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
CORSAIR Hydro Series H100 (CWCH100) Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Pros: Excellent, excellent cooling. Don't be fooled by slightly higher temperatures than air coolers at idle. That's just the temperature of your water working against you. At load, you'll find much lower temperatures than any air cooler.

Cons: I installed this in a Corsair 500R case, which is made to accomodate the larger radiator. It was still a big pain to screw in. In other systems, you can probably screw the fans into the radiator first and then screw the assembly into your case. I wanted to take advantage of the extra volume beneath the top grate, so I have the radiator up there and the two fans pushing air up and out. I had to push screws through the fan and the radiator simultaneously; one hand to support the radiator in its ideal position, one hand to hold the fan in position, and my mouth (i guess) to screw them together. The bracket also seemed wobbly during installation, but mostly resolved when I tightened down the screws on the CPU mount. I *think* contact with the processer is good, but that wobble could cause issues with proper alignment.

Overall Review: I picked this up during a Black Friday, so it was a much better bargain than normal. For most users, this kind of cooling is too robust. Unless you're planning to seriously overclock, buy a solid air cooler. Cooler Master and Corsair both make great ones for way less money.

Great!

TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wireless N150 High Gain USB Adapter, 150Mbps, w/4 dBi High Gain Detachable Antenna, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WEP, WPA/WPA2
TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wireless N150 High Gain USB Adapter, 150Mbps, w/4 dBi High Gain Detachable Antenna, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WEP, WPA/WPA2

Pros: Drivers and utilities were a breeze to install. Signal strength and speed are great. After upgrading to this from a PCI Wireless G adapter, I am blown away!

Cons: None. Keeping the antenna further away from the rest of the computer via a tether is what some people swear by, but I have had no problems with interference whatsoever.
