CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650 W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply & New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Rockin single 12v rail with enough amps for a single gtx 295 system. Runs my system with rock stable voltage readings. CPU and graphics card OCed. Not a single hitch in any torture test. Cables are not as bad as everyone made them sound. Plenty of length and easily managed in my NZXT lexa case. Gigabyte EP45-UD3R Corsair Dominator 4GB 1066 55515 BFG GTX 260 @ 675gpu 2350mem Core 2 Duo 8500 @ 3.8ghz 1600mhz fsb. 1.25v in bios. 5 case fans 1 500GB HD 2 Opticals and Xigmatek 92mm cooler

Cons: The plush bag the psu came wrapped in didnt have a bottle of Crown Royal in it too : )

Overall Review: Maybe it will power my room too?

Once you figure things out its awesome!

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Excellent layout on the board. Its construction is the best I have seen for the money. It is rock solid stable after you make a few adjustments. Overclocking options are very flexible and thorough to get you the best overclock. Dont use Easy tune to overclock. Do it through bios to anyone thats lazy : ) Allthough it is a great temp monitor when you are running prime 95. Dont forget to check your mem voltages and make sure your cpu has the correct multiplier set. Recognized correct speed and timings for my Corsair Dominater 4gb 1066 set of ram Played crysis warhead for 5 hours straight. no hiccups. notta one.

Cons: Had to set cpu multiplier to 9.5 for my e8500. No big deal at all.

Overall Review: if you are using Windows XP sp1 or Windows XP install be sure to slipstream sp3 on there with RAID drivers for the chipset. I ran into that, and caused a BSOD everytime you go into Fdisk. Pci.sys error. Its not your graphics card. just xp not recognizing your drive, and not havin drivers. Also makes running achi or raid easier too. To get my overclock on the e8500 co step. turn off anything set on turbo to standard. set the fsb to 400, manually set the cpu volts to 1.25. Load line calibration seemed to help with it enabled. turn off EIST if you want your proc. to run at highest speed all the time. 3.8 ghz easy. 4 should be no problem, but plenty fast for now : ) prime 95 for 9 hours no errors. Crysis warhead 5 hours no errors. Gigabyte EP45 UD3R Core 2 duo E8500 BFG gtx 260 OC @ 675-2350 Corsair Dominator 4gb 1066 55515 Corsair 650tx psu Seagate 500gb 7200.11 32mb cache

Transcend Rocks!

Transcend StoreJet 2.5 Mobile 160GB USB 2.0 2.5" External Hard Drive TS160GSJ25M

Pros: This is a 2.5 SATA drive. Small, compact size. Nice rubber coating keeps it from slipping off anywhere you might put it. Transferred a 2.25 GB folder with some patches in 1 min 38 sec. Transferred my Mp3 folder with 2331 files at 9.5 GB in 5 min 15 sec! For my use its is perfect. Fast, Durable, Compact!

Cons: Reliability so far seems excellent, but only owned for a week. So far so good. no cons.

Overall Review: Have not tried the provided backup software StoreJet 1.1. Drive came formatted to FAT-32. Had no problem reformatting to NTFS. Awesome little drive. Drag and Drop works flawlessly. Computer recognized it instantly as a hard disk with no driver. Gigabyte P35-DS3L- Intel Core 2 Duo [email protected] 8800 GTS 512- 2GB GSKILL @1600

Amazing CPU !!!!

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 - Core 2 Duo Conroe Dual-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80557E6750

Pros: This thing runs like a dream!! Being a long time AMD supporter I was reluctant to come over to the Intel side of things. Glad I did. The speed is amazing coming from a 3800 x2. Very Efficient

Cons: None.

Overall Review: This thing overclocked so easily! This was my first attempt using a GB P35-DS3L and GSKILL memory. A budget build gone completly right. Right now its @ 3.2ghz @ 1.40v can run prime 95 for 14 hours no errors. I know she can go to 3.6 easy, just happy with my first attempt at the moment. With an Arctic Freezer Pro cooler it never went over 53C. 35C at idle

If you cant wait get this!

EVGA 640-P2-N829-A1 GeForce 8800GTS 640MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
EVGA 640-P2-N829-A1 GeForce 8800GTS 640MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: This is the card with the unlocked shaders. This card has 112sp vs 96sp with all the other gts's. Plus its clocked to gtx speeds. Keeps up with a 8800 gt KO. I can run Crysis at 1680x1050 all high settings very comfortably, no slow down. Only uses 1 6 pin plug unlike gtx's Mine overclocked to 625/1890 and stays around 73 at full load.

Cons: Its not as cheap as a 8800 GT. And the GT keeps up with this card till very high resolutions kick in. Still cant find one though. If you buy used forget about step up program. New GTS coming out in December. But I couldnt wait and not play crysis, duh/.

Overall Review: To me this card made the most sense even though the GT is cheaper. Lets face it. This was like a nice down payment on a new 8900 GTS through the Step Up Program and I have plenty of time to trade in on one when they come out December 3rd. It is estimated to knock the socks off for sure the GT and possibly on par with the Ultra! So why buy a GTX when its extinction is coming? and why wait for a GT with no clue when they will be in stock again? You decide. This card offers all the performance I need to tide me over till I can play Crysis on Very High no sweat Intel C2D E6750@ 3.2GHZ 8800 GTS SSC 625/1890 2GB Gskill DDR2 800@ 480mhz 3D mark 06 11532
