1 cent part, part deux

Pros: Crock Pot cooks great. Love the probe cooking. Love how the temperature set on warm stays high enough not to worry about food contamination.
Cons: See previous review below entitled 1 cent part.
Overall Review: This is an update to a previous review. First I would like to encourage Newegg to code in a edit function for reviewers so reviewers like me don't have to write a whole new review when they want to update a previous review. But, that comment is neither here nor there. Yes that tiny 1 cent part that holds the probe jack feel off without me noticing it until it was no where to be found and I could no longer cook with my crock pot. But, to Hamilton Beach's credit they did get back to me right after my last review. They were very polite. Since the crock pot was within warrantee they agreed to send me a new crock pot. I just had to pick one out. I picked out a newer equivalent model. I then had to cut the cord of my broken crock pot and email the picture to them. I also had to call and give them my credit card number for $14.99 for shipping and handling. I felt bad about cutting the cord because it still worked well as a manual crock pot, but I could see why I had to do something to prove I wasn't just making up my problem to get a new crock pot. Well, anyway, I just wanted to say even though my crock pot broke Hamilton Beach did what I would consider a reasonable job making things right. Maybe they will put a little Loctite ® on the darn part that holds the probe jack, (Smile.)

Pros: Nice crock pot. Loved using the probe to cook. The warm setting kept the temperature high enough to function very well to keep things warm.
Cons: After a few months the very small nut that holds the probe jack fell off. I went to use the crock pot and the probe was inside the shell of the pot. I emailed Hamilton Beach asking that they send me the bolt and never heard back. I figure I can take it a apart and push the probe jack back through the shell and bolt it back on. Right now I am trying to find something that will fit it a the hardware store. I am not too happy about this.
