Pros: Price

Cons: Wow. Wow. I came here for the low price point on such a large hard drive. Now I know that what I was getting for the low price is a high failure rate product. If it isn't DOA it's going to die. Toshiba obviously isn't acknowledging their product is flawed by design and manufacture, a respectable company would have taken the loss and pulled the product off the market. Rather, they're peddling them bottom dollar to unsuspecting people. You know, it's one thing when you sell junk RAM or something- but a HARD DRIVE HAS TO BE A PRODUCT YOU CAN TRUST. DATA IS IRREPLACEABLE. That's the part that sickens me. Data is the product of work, sometimes hard and priceless work, sometimes captured memories such as photos. One would imagine a 3TB hard drive like this would be somebodies main backup, because really-- who here bought two 3TB drives to have one unreliable drive back up another. Now, TOSHIBA IS JUST GOING TO COPY+PASTE THE SAME PARAGRAPH ON MY REVIEW AS ALL THE REST and take absolutely no action to remedy the situation. Toshiba: Listen, your customers don't feel loved and listened to if you paste the same corporate response paragraph every time. Pull this flawed product off the market.
