Pros: The RIG has really changed how I use voice chat while playing online games. Quite simply, the RIG allows you to bring in game sounds via your normal audio out, and connect to your chat system using its USB audio driver. This allows you to mix those two sources directly from the RIG device, on the fly, whenever you need. You can also connect it to the headphone port on your cell phone, and mix in any music coming from that as well. Plus, when you get a call, a quick press answers the call, and connects your headset microphone to the cell phone. No more ditching your headset and loosing game audio to answer a call. It does work with headphones besides the included set (which is good), any headphones which also work as a cell phone headset (4 bands instead of 3 on the 3.5mm plug). This means your favorite ear buds work with it as well. I prefer my Razer BlackShark headphones to the included set, and they work perfectly with the RIG. There's also a master volume control, along with 3 simple pre-set EQ levels, and a microphone mute and phone control button (for answering/hanging up calls, or pausing music). The headphones that are included have 2 options for microphones, a traditional boom and an inline mic. Both work great, and the headphones sound good and are quite comfortable for extended use, but the best part of this is the RIG unit itself. The cable to connect it to a computer or console is very long and seems quite well made, so it should be able to easily reach your computer or console.

Cons: The included headphones, while having good sound quality and being comfortable, are an open design, which means you can hear everything around you. For some that's not a problem, but in a noisy environment, it can make it hard to hear. Though the RIG does work with other headphones, they have to use the 4-band 3.5mm plug, which not all do. Initial setup can be complicated, since you have to set game output on one device (sound card), and voice communication on another (RIG USB Audio). Includes a headset that I won't get much use out of, wish they made it available without to save on cost.

Overall Review: Though setup can be a bit complicated, once it's setup, it works amazingly well. The ability to quickly change the mix level between game sound and voice chat is incredibly convenient. For anyone who uses voice chat while they game, the RIG is a fantastic device, and I can't recommend it enough.
