Pros: Follow up review; I was previously dual booting with XP Pro, I dumped XP after a week. Just did not need it anymore. This os is superior to any other Windows os. Running 64 bit all the way with 8 GB ram.

Cons: This might be just me, I don't know; clean install, no matter what partition options I choose will always leave around 100 MB unpartitioned space at the beginning of the drive. I just can't seem to get around this while attempting set up partitions with in the install disk. I've heard bitLocker uses this area for it's installation, but BitLocker is not an option on this edition of Windows 7. Could have purchased an upgrade version of Windows 7 pro and done the exact same clean install: save some coin.

Overall Review: Never do an upgrade install, always clean install fresh. This os is what Vista should have been. This os would run well with just 2 or 3 GB of ram. Very configurable and easily tweaked.

Pros: The right length, if that is what you require. Round cable. [?]

Cons: Will not tollerate bending without breaking at the point where the round cable meets the head. I frayed a wire by bending the cable at the above point. Very inflexable. Very inflexable. Very inflexable.

Overall Review: If your considering this length, stop. Get the 10 inch size instead. This short cable is very inflexable. It is best used 'point to point' without bending if you have the right setup requirement. I misjudged, the flatter ribbon-like cables are far more flexable & sturdy.

Pros: Fully featured X99 enthusiast motherboard for a new memory standard and chipset. M.2 is fully recognized and functional with 1305 EUFI BIOS. The add-on fan header board is a really nice addition. Asus's EUFI BIOS is a pleasure to work in compared to the Intel X58 I previously owned. Asus does a good job of updating their EUFI BIOS & component QVL. BIOS was only outdated by one version. The wifi looks cheap but it performs surprisingly very well. Decent heat sinking on this board with plenty of on board fan headers. Fabulous amount of sensory information for all kinds of monitoring. (voltage, fan speeds, and temps)

Cons: I don't care for the M.2 slots vertical fastener type, the designers could have come up with a better way to fasten the M.2 drive to the vertical piece.

Overall Review: *Newegg's tight and overly protective payment policy has been forcing some customers away, like those who's shipping addresses differ frequently from the billing address. *I'm not entirely doubtful that many of the boards that are purchased new are having issues and that those folks putting them together are not incompetent builders. Some of these boards are going out bad. *The extra fan header board only comes with the Deluxe series and no other boards. It cannot be purchased anywhere even from Asus. (that is just plain wrong) *To those who whine about non verified purchased reviewer: get over it and stop crying about something that doesn't concern you. Overall Review: This board posted long enough to update EUFI BIOS successfully then would no longer POST and therefore had no choice but to Return. I was unable to rectify whatever issue this board was having. CPU diagnostic LED would remain lit up on the board with several failed attempts to reorient heat sink. I have a backup board that I also purchased at the same time, it is the ASUSX99 Deluxe. All components are cross compatible with each other's ASUS QV listing and are currently working without issue. I love the looks and features purportedly built into this board and will edit my review once I can get a working product.

Pros: handle everything my Windows 7 OS did. Far superior to XP, in every way. It's an improvement over Windows 8.

Cons: Split OS still confuse some, mostly dummies though. Same with the lack of an "old fashion" start menu.

Overall Review: Disregard that last user's comments.

Pros: Great monitor for higher end uses. Considerably lighter weight than previous 8 year old 1000 dollar Samsung considering it's a 3 inch bigger screen. The Use of LED backlighting also means it does not get as hot as the older fluorescent backlighting.

Cons: No cons, it's an all-round better monitor than the 8 year old Samsung I had, and it was near top of the line when I purchased it.

Overall Review: Primary uses: Video encoding, photo manipulation, and watching movies. *No gaming, so I cannot comment on that aspect. Not the absolute top of the line professional use monitor, but it is more than sufficient for my said usages. Purchased direct from Dell, it was a tad bit cheaper.
