Works Great!
Pros: Does not require 6-pin PCI-E, supports x1 variants of the same card for multiple displays. WDDM drivers work great in Vista. DisplayPort cables "click" and "lock" so they don't fall out of the back of your case.
Cons: PNY needs new graphics designers for their video card boxes... mine was the same look as they've been for ages! :)
Overall Review: In S5000XVNSAS (Intel) Xeon Workstation Boards, if you add x1 cards they become the primary displays for some reason. It is more an issue with the workstation board than it is with this video card.
Cheap
Pros: Gets the job done, pretty low quality.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: It was free, I really can't complain...
Great PSU
Pros: Half Modular--all of the cables most people need are already on the PSU, and the rest you can add on a if-needed when-needed basis. Drives my Phenom II X6 1055T, 890FX Motherboard, and a HD5870 perfectly under heavy load in games.
Cons: Some cables are a bit long and require some extra cable management to get them out of the way.
Overall Review: The supplied PCIe card has two heads on it (one 6+2 pin, one 6 pin) and was adequate to drive a HD5870 alone.
Awesome Performance!
Pros: 6-core CPU solution that's AFFORDABLE. 7.4 score in Windows 7 rating! I'm not an overclocker. I opted for this solution over the 1090T because I wanted a hex-core CPU performance that didn't rival Core i7 solutions in price.
Cons: CPU fan is loud, but the heatsink that AMD provides is pretty beefy and high quality for a stock heatsink. Much higher quality than OEM-supplied HSFs from Intel.
Overall Review: I highly recommend this CPU as it runs very quickly and has all of the features applicable to normal users and gamers.
Very Nice Case!
Pros: I opted for this case because of a Newegg promotion, experience with the HAF 932, and the fact that I needed something that my HD5870 could fit into. This case is very nice quality steel and paint! The case fans all come with 3-pin to 4-pin Molex adapters, if needed. Front LED for the intake fan can be turned on and off with a switch on top, power button is easily accessible on the top. Airflow is beyond amazing, as the front intake and top exhaust fans are GIGANTIC.
Cons: Hard Drive and Optical Drive plastic retention system is never a favorite of mine, as it feels flimsy and when optical drives are working, there is a lot of noise!
Overall Review: Hope you enjoy red LED color schema on your computer. If you're a blue/green fan, you won't like the case I don't think.
Great Quality RAM!
Pros: Great quality RAM! Heatspreaders are made of a high quality metal, and the RAM works great with 890FX chipsets and Phenom II X6 CPUs. JEDEC timing is 1066, but manual RAM settings in BIOS and you're good to go.
Cons: None that I could see. DDR3 price?
