Fun Game, Poor Translation
Pros: The energy weapons are fun as hell, the laser cannon for the VS being my favorite. The scale of boss fights is also something to ogle at. Very decent game-play, and Akrid AI is interesting. Overall, good game and worth the ten dollars (A dollar sign is inappropriate, newegg??) in my opinion.
Cons: Human AI seems to have gone out the window, unless of course they are in a VS themselves. Regular humans will just stand there and let you shoot them time and time again on normal difficulty (I haven't explored the higher level difficulty yet) but when you run into an enemy mobile suit, they constantly shell the hell out of you. This isn't even a survivability problem, because thermal energy is easy to come by. It just becomes very frustrating when every time you are about to stand up another rocket comes flying out of nowhere, knocks you on your rear, and then disorients the hell out of your game with smoke and shock waves. Despite ALL of these quirky game play phenomenons, my biggest complaint is the absolute lack of keyboard + mouse options and tutorials. I still can't figure out how to make the bike mode of the GTF-11 VS go forward, it only gos backwards. You can't increase mouse sensitivity, which is a huge issue for me, seeing as how the main characters turning speed sucks.
Overall Review: Capcom needs to release a new tutorial for the second game, and hopefully some freakin keyboard control maps. I mean, come on... Stop referring to the Xbox controller at the very least! Improved AI would be nice to, but I'm OK with it.
Pros: Standard ear comfort, can last for a long time without providing headaches. Distorts outside sounds effectively.
Cons: What in Hellall mighty were they thinking? Upon purchase, everyone I Skyped reported massive feedback at seemingly random points of every conversation I had. The microphone contacter did go bad quickly, but not before everyone I knew demanded I switch to my old headset built by Plantronics.
Overall Review: I don't understand how this much of a publicized headset could be so worthless. Poor sound quality accompanied by the worst voice isolation possible.
