BYTECC HD6-SU3 Aluminum 2.5" Silver SATA USB 3.0 External Enclosure
BYTECC HD6-SU3 Aluminum 2.5" Silver SATA USB 3.0 External Enclosure

Pros: -Relatively well constructed. -comes with a soft pouch. -thick, well built cable.

Cons: -kinda finicky. Sometimes It works, sometimes it doesn't. (most likely the hard drive in the enclosure.) -Sometimes I have to use the power cable, sometimes i don't. again probably the HD in the thing. -The cable doesn't feel like it has a good connection to the enclosure. I find myself checking it quite regularly.

Overall Review: The maximum transfer rate i've gotten using the usb 3 connection on my laptop was 71.5 MB/Sec. (thats megabits, devide that by 8 to get megabytes/sec.) I usually get around 22 MB/sec on usb 2. The speed is ok, there are several factors that come into play when transfering data though. Your target HD, and the HD in the enclosure for one. If it can't read/transfer files faster/equal to the usb 3 connection you won't see much of a difference. I have a cheap, but brand new Hitachi 320gig HD in mine. Also your CPU if its older, you wont see a huge increase, your mobo has a lot to do with it too, if your FSB is slow, the transfer of data will be slow. Short story long, I'm not seeing the 10x faster than usb2.0. Its effective speed increase is about 3x faster, with a gskill titan SSD being the target, if I had an SSD in the enclosure as well it might be faster. However for a back up HD. SSDs are NOT a good choice. They don't have the write per sector count that standard drives have.

good, fast. noisy.

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7870 XT w/Boost 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100354XTL
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7870 XT w/Boost 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100354XTL

Pros: -Fast. -one of a kind -technically a watered down 7950 (7930 would be what this card is, but I think its still faster than that would be) -virtually 0 fan noise.

Cons: -An UNBEARABLE TORTUOUS coil squealing. I'm about to take the card apart and hot glue/finger nail polish the coils. It is seriously the LOUDEST coil squeal I've ever heard. I've read that it can be solved by using different power cables., or the above mentioned clear nail polish, or hot glue, or melted wax, or just by continued use. Like leaving it squealing over night or something Going to try some of the above, if that maddening sound doesn't go away, going to RMA the card, and get another brand.

Overall Review: If it didn't abuse my ears with its squealing I'd give it 5 eggs.

DO NOT BUY!!! first and last MSI I will eve get!!

MSI 15.6" GL62M 7RE-406 Intel Core i7 7th Gen 7700HQ (2.80 GHz) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 16 GB Memory 256 GB SSD 1 TB HDD Windows 10 Home 64-Bit Gaming Laptop ONLY @ NEWEGG

Pros: Its a fast laptop with a decent battery life. heat vents out the back instead of the sides, there is ample vents in the bottom. CPU and GPU each have their own cooling system. Very very important in high performance laptops so one part is not baking the other.

Cons: -TRASH keyboard keys stop working in less than a year!!! ((electronic issue MSI refuses to address or knowledge)) THOUSANDS of people are experiencing this issue on multiple dozens of models, C,R,F,X,(,), backspace, DEL, and anymore just stop responding unless you slap them down a million times do you know how long it took me to type this review? at least 30 minutes!! - At least once a day It locks up. The HD light will be solid blue (on) however software including windows will report its at like 30% or so. (hdtune, crystal disk etc) this infuriates me so much I have decided that this will be my first and last MSI laptop. A new laptop should not perform like this, especially a "high performance" laptop. I have had 4 Asus laptops and not one of them behaved like this, Not even the 700.00 entry laptop. - touch pad is a pain the *#$ when typing. It should have the opton to not be active when youre typing. Doesn't. As I type this I can see the cursor moving around the screen. - Battery is not removable. #1 thing you are told by the "kwiki mart" trouble shooter punjab is to "power off, and remove the battery" yeah bud can't. its encased inside the plastic prison.

Overall Review: I have a love hate relationship with this laptop. I love the performance, I hate everything else. Had I to do it over again i'd have spent the extra 100ish and got the Asus.

used it once.

Pros: makes a good paper weight.

Cons: -expensive. -once the bettery is dead you can't use it anymore.

Overall Review: got it on the 5th, used it on the 6th, wont charge again. tried an aftermarket psu from best buy, the stats are exactly the same as the one that came with it, battery still wont charge. The original PSU's led just switches between green and orange over and over again. WIll not charge. VERY disappointed. This thing is FAR too expensive to have stupid issues that could have been caught before it shipped by a testing method. I followed the instructions to the letter.

Going to get a second one.

Corsair Vengeance M60 Black 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Performance, FPS Gaming Mouse
Corsair Vengeance M60 Black 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Performance, FPS Gaming Mouse

Pros: -comfortable. (takes a few moments to get used to) -easy to hold onto. -HAS WEIGHT TO IT! -can change the wight if you want. -works on any surface.

Cons: -Not really a con, but the red "sniper" button is a bit to far forwardly placed. not enough to take an egg off though. I did just reprogram it for whatever I want in whatever game I'm playing.

Overall Review: Will be getting a second one. one for home and one for work.

Love it. Worth every cent.

OCZ Vertex 4 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) VTX4-25SAT3-256G
OCZ Vertex 4 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) VTX4-25SAT3-256G

Pros: Fast. Easy. Reliable. No problems at all.

Cons: expensive?

Overall Review: Had this thing for a year installed in a desktop as the primary drive. I have a 1 tb back up with all my "large data" files on it. I still keep games and the sort on this SSD though. Its amazingly fast. I would highly recommend using this for anyone wanting something cool, quiet, fast, and reliable.
