Great Card

DIAMOND Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 4870PE5512OC
DIAMOND Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 4870PE5512OC

Pros: Absolutely a great card. Plays all the games I have without a hassle (or crossfiring). It can handle Crysis with all all setting set to very high with no anti-aliasing (unless you want some lag) at 1400x900 and 30+ fps. You should still set it so that Crysis will run with the vista visual themes and desktop composition disabled (if you are using vista). You can do this by going to the crysis.exe, opening the properties, going to compatability, and checking "disable visual themes" and "disable desktop composition".

Cons: You'll have to turn up the fan speeds to at least 30-40% if you want the card running cool. Or you can buy some third party cooling if you want. If you plan on crossfiring, you better have a large case with very good airflow (and quite a few fans). And, it doesn't come with stickers :(

Overall Review: If you want to get a Radeon 4870, this is a very good choice. Especially since it reduced in price by $40 since I ordered it. Suggest that you have 4gb ram and a quad core processor so that everything can be used to it's best potential.

Very decent mp3 player

SanDisk Black 1GB MP3 Player Sansa c240
SanDisk Black 1GB MP3 Player Sansa c240

Pros: Had this for more than two years now, and still works. The sound quality is great (not perfect though), and has many features such as radio and voice/radio recording. If you just want something to listen to music with, this is a good choice.

Cons: After a little more than a year, the output for the left audio started bugging out. There would be no sound coming out of the left headphones. This gets fixed either by moving the jack around or just waiting. I know it is from the mp3 player because I've tried multiple headphones and speakers. The problem isn't persistent and doesn't happen enough to be a major annoyance. It's probably a flaw specific to a few of these mp3 players, so it shouldn't be something to worry about. Also, be aware that micro SDHC doesn't work with this. I tried stuffing a 4 gig micro sdhc chip and it wouldn't read. Not unexpected, considering it may not even have been made when this first came out. I had to keep with the 2 gig I had.

Overall Review: With the newer Sansa's that are out these days, this one may be a bit over priced compared to its storage capacity. Still it does its job.

Excellent

Creative Black EP-630 3.5mm Gold-Plated Connector Canal Noise Isolation Earphones
Creative Black EP-630 3.5mm Gold-Plated Connector Canal Noise Isolation Earphones

Pros: Been using these thing, and they're awesome. The clarity and sharpness is very high. It's quite comfortable. I can wear these for extended periods of time without discomfort. Just make sure you stuff them into your ears well so they don't fall out. I'm not too partial about bass, but these do give the bass an extra kick. What seems to set these apart from other I've used is the depth. It's got some pretty good depth variation.

Cons: Not a really a $80 headset. And, if you're not used to ear canal headphones, you may find these to be rather awkward to wear (applies to any headphones of this style, really).

Overall Review: Seems like the only people that complain are the connoisseurs of sound with way too expensive headsets. Of course these lack the excessive sound quality and depth of the $80+ headphones! Don't know why expensive headset users would try these anyway. If you're just an average listener, these should be more than you need.

Awesome Game

Far Cry 2 PC Game
Far Cry 2 PC Game

Pros: Was looking forward to this game for a while, and I'd have top say I wasn't disappointed. Interactivity and "realism" is top notch. The foliage system is extremely realistic (better than crysis if you'd ask me). The graphics come very close to crysis levels (though the foliage always looks better). The game play is fun, and shouldn't be repetitive if you're familiar with the gta series. Can't really say much about the story-line, since I haven't beaten the game yet, though I'm liking what I've seen so far. Exploration is a big factor with the hidden diamonds and audio tapes, but you risk getting shot up (quite often).

Cons: One of the biggest cons to this game is it's instability. There's a chance that you'll run into a perform bug (such as the game constantly crashing every half hour, which is the only thing preventing me from playing a couple hours straight). However, there should be a bigger chance that the game will run fine. You can either take the chance in buying this game now, or wait for some more patches to come out. Game play wise, I have experienced some minor bugs with AI, though they weren't big enough to bother me any. Other people have experienced worse problems regarding the dynamic narrative system, save system, and etc, but I haven't experienced any of those. Some people also complain about the quick enemy respawn times, but I don't find them a problem. I think this is a little exaggerated, since I've gone through a checkpoint twince (before and after completing a mission), and the enemies did not respawn the second time I passed through.

Overall Review: Generally a great game. Sort of like a GTA FPS in Africa. Should be enjoyable for those that don't demand bug-free and flawless games. The only reason I do not endorse the PC version of this game fully is because of the performance and stability issues. If there weren't any of these such issues, I'd be shouting far cry 2 everywhere I go. if you are not a chance taker, I'd suggest buying the console version (if you have a console), as those apparently have considerably fewer performance bugs.

Great

Sennheiser HD201 Over-Ear Headphones
Sennheiser HD201 Over-Ear Headphones

Pros: I've have to say these are some really amazing headphones. Had them for about four years, and they did not break until yesterday, after I accidentally tripped on the cord and bent the jack (my stupid mistake). even then, I've given these so much beating that I was surprised they even lasted this long. The sound quality is high enough for the musically inclined, unless you're used to the more expensive Senheisers, and then, the only difference is in depth. They're comfortable enough so that I can wear them for about 10 hours straight without any discomfort at all.

Cons: The wire's not easily replaceable. Wish I can just plug in a new wire so that I can still use my pair. Also, be aware that there is almost no noise cancellation.

Overall Review: Very good choice for headphones, considering quality/price ratio. I remember these costed much more when I first got them, and at $20.00, it's an absolute steal.

Great Choice

Sunbeam CR-CCTF 120 mm Core-Contact Freezer CPU Cooler, free TX-2 Thermal Paste Included Inside
Sunbeam CR-CCTF 120 mm Core-Contact Freezer CPU Cooler, free TX-2 Thermal Paste Included Inside

Pros: I bought this because frostytech listed it as the best overall CPU cooler, and I'm not disappointed. It keeps my CPU at a constant 30c-35c, with very little change under load. It also comes with an excellent thermal paste and a fan speed controller, which you can conveniently mount onto a back slot.

Cons: The only problem I see with this is that it requires a good amount of force to push the heatsink onto the mounting frame. It's not too bad, but you need to be extra firm. It shouldn't have any danger of damaging your CPU, though. My larger complaint is that it is impossible to dismount the heatsink by yourself without getting close to tearing something apart. I had to get help to get it off when I had to check that I applied enough thermal paste. This will not be a problem if you do not plan to remove the heatsink once installed.

Overall Review: As mentioned, you should make sure that you have enough room in your case and motherboard to house this. You'll need at least a full tower. Thank goodness for the fact that the fan is connected by metal rods that allow it to move around. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to fit the fan on, since my motherboard (ASUS P5Q Deluxe) had some big chipset coolers. Great cooler. Highly recommended.
