Runs fine

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM2 125W Processor - ADX6000CZBOX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM2 125W Processor - ADX6000CZBOX

Pros: So far, I have not seen any problems (Knock on wood) when put under a load with stock heat sink/ fan, highest it got was 40-45 C. Note * I did not overclock it, nor will I attempt to due to other reviews claiming it's not stable.

Cons: None so far

Most Critical Review

don't just leave default settings

MSI H97I AC LGA 1150 Intel H97 HDMI USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
MSI H97I AC LGA 1150 Intel H97 HDMI USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Pros: The bios menu extravagant but a bit on the annoying side, not sure if there is an update but regardless, you can definitely adjust your PC to your liking!

Cons: The Wifi... let's just say if you're planning to buy this for the wifi, you should look for something else or just buy an adapter. The wifi cannot pick up any signal after the second boot. I would buy another card, but that's not worth my time or money. I had a spare adapter so I'm living with that loss.

Overall Review: I believe MSI's higher end gaming motherboard has the same wifi issue, so it might just be the cards they installed.

Game (meh) Story (4 stars)

Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm PC Game
Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm PC Game

Pros: new units changes the gameplay from the original WoL, the story line is so back and forth that I don't know what to expect! Blizzard does have a great story going.

Cons: The game itself... online games are now like starcraft 1... ALL ARCADE/use map setting... But I can't blame them, the game is too systematic in the beginning, sometimes till the end. Lack of Lan does not help at all... Anyways, it's not worth $40, maybe 15-20 (mainly for the story)

It's a good CPU (not sure about APU)

AMD A10-5700 - A-Series APU Trinity Quad-Core 3.4GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 65W AMD Radeon HD 7660D Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic - AD5700OKHJBOX
AMD A10-5700 - A-Series APU Trinity Quad-Core 3.4GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 65W AMD Radeon HD 7660D Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic - AD5700OKHJBOX

Pros: As a CPU, it's great, haven't seen it go turbo though but then again, I don't monitor the GHz all the time.

Cons: none, runs smooth stock.

Overall Review: Not sure if the APU is at fault, the mother board, or if a 7660D is just comparable to intel HD 4000/3000, but it's a bit choppy. But!!! it could also be due to the bad Ram I had, I really don't know and I don't feel like wasting time figuring it out.

STURDY

Biostar Gift
Biostar Gift

Pros: Great mic/headphone, FREE!!!, long cables beautiful sound (soft on the ears)

Cons: Can't adjust the sizing/fitting, the cables are long, but the ends are stuck together, so if you have speakers already, you would have to put them close to the mic jack.

BIOSTAR Hi-Fi A85W FM2 AMD A85X (Hudson D4) USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
BIOSTAR Hi-Fi A85W FM2 AMD A85X (Hudson D4) USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Nice features, worked out of the box w/o any issues, nice addition with the error code LED.

Cons: Still haven't gotten the phone app for the mother board to work. Too lazy to google the directions (or read at all)
