Well done Geforce

ECS GeForce GT 440 (Fermi) 512MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card NGT440-512QI-F1
ECS GeForce GT 440 (Fermi) 512MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card NGT440-512QI-F1

Pros: For around 75 dollars, this graphics card definitely didn't break the bank. I used to have integrated graphics so this really made all the difference for me. I can run Dota 2 on high settings, and Soldier Front 2 on at least medium settings. I'm a pretty casual gamer, so this was really a good choice for decent performance.

Cons: Really wish it was 1gb of memory instead of 512 mb. But hey, for 65 dollars, it's GGDR5.

Overall Review: Was a great purchase. Installation was easy. When i first opened my computer however it was 800x600 resolution, but this can be easily fixed.

Most Critical Review

Mouse was nice... While it still worked.

CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)
CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo Bundle (Blue Edition)

Pros: The keyboard was a joy to use. It's basically a no frills standard keyboard with some media keys on the top, that has the added bonus of having back-lit keys. It's also rubberized, which makes typing with it and gaming easier. The keyboard was responsive and slid, and as of the moment I have no problems with it. The mouse, when it was still functional, was also a solid product. It had a rubberized grip, which made it easy to hold. The tracking was good, and the dpi settings were also nice (although I mainly used the 800 dpi setting.)

Cons: The mouse stopped working one week later, one night , when I heard the windows sound alert of a peripheral being unplugged on my laptop. Nothing was unplugged, but my mouse stopped working. The mouse was still apparently lit up, but it was no longer responsive to movement or clicking. Also, it kind of sucked that I couldn't turn off the mouse light even when it did work.

Overall Review: Can't RMA it because I threw out the original packaging. It was a thirty dollar keyboard and mouse set, what was I to expect. It is what it is. At least the keyboard's still going strong.

Great laptop for the price... With one bottleneck

Lenovo - 15.6" NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M - Intel Core i7-4700HQ - 8GB Memory - 8 GB SSD - Windows 8.1 64-Bit - Gaming Laptop - (Y50 (59425944) )
Lenovo - 15.6" NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M - Intel Core i7-4700HQ - 8GB Memory - 8 GB SSD - Windows 8.1 64-Bit - Gaming Laptop - (Y50 (59425944) )

Pros: Let me just say that this laptop is amazing for gaming. It boasts a 4th gen i7 cpu, a geforce gtx 860 maxwell gpu, and 8gb of ddr3 ram. If that doesn't scream performance, I dont know what does. I can run skyrim in ultra settings for at least 60 fps (I capped the fps). I never lag in any of my games, unless it's connection related.

Cons: The one thing that I would have liked the y50 to be improved on is the hard drive. The 5400 rpm harddrive is RIDICULOUSLY slow. They could've made it 7200 rpm for just a little bit more, but if you can, swap the harddrive for an ssd. Also, the ram comes it 2x4gb ram sticks which kind of sucks because there's only two ram slots. The keyboard is also a bit hard to use. For some reason, it takes a bit of force to press the keys, or it could just be me.

Overall Review: There's a 25gb ssd that you can put all your frequently used programs in. I guess it's to compensate for the 5400 rpm hard drive.

Solid keybord

Steelseries Qck Gaming Mouse Pad (Black)
Steelseries Qck Gaming Mouse Pad (Black)

Pros: It is a very good mouse pad that has a good grip on any surface, and has good mouse tracking. It's a huge upgrade from those balloon shaped mouse pads with the wrist cushions at the end that I used to use, and it's wonderful for fps games, where you need a large mousepad because you need to play with low mouse sensitivity.

Cons: I wish it came with a cleaning cloth, because I've already gotten some crumbs on it (my fault for eating near it, however)

Overall Review: It's a mouse pad. It works.
