LED flashlight
Pros: It works, bright, small, adjustable beam is plus. seems built well. 3 AAA batteries power the light. Unit has a hi/lo output setting that's easy to use. It is a good product for my needs.
Cons: output color temp of the LED, looks yellowish. I would prefer more white beam of light.
Overall Review: I took off one egg for color of light output. I have a few small LED flashlights and this one is yellowish colored beam output. Also @ 4 foot distance from wall, focused wide it projects 3 foot round circle of light emitted @ narrow focus beam @ same distance it projects a square beam of light 10 inch x 10 inch. these numbers are rough measurements.
t.b vegas fans
Pros: look good, move decent air on high and not too noisy. no vibrations.
Cons: wires to control switches are small diameter and easily damaged where they are soldered to the switch. not a good switch for this application, imo.
Overall Review: I have used the solid color fans also (white, red and blue) and had to repair 5 of the wire connections to the switches. I have just used different switches on these and mounted them in the pc case. the wires are like 24 gauge stranded leads soldered to solid pins on the switches and it is very easy to break the wires when mounting. very easy to break. if your lights won't change check the wires @ the switch.
worthy of the stars
Overall Review: does well 1440p gaming pushing hi end gpu
CORSAIR Hydro Series H60
Pros: price was not bad with rebate. easy install. socket 2011 no backplate needed, stock is used. same as other cooler I replaces (cm hyper 212) pretty decent cooling, the cm hyper212 and T4 does really good unless you want to overclock far. Tubing was a little stiff, but rotating the water pump assembly made it lay down nice. seems quiet in system. using pwm fan that came with the unit. turned it on silent in efi/bios and it staying nice and cool. pump is 3pin and runs 12v all the time no pulse width modulation control on it. it runs @ about 4200rpm. I have my own monitoring software running the temps @ idle are about 100f and loaded 120f (prime 95 tft all cpu) on a 4930k 6core cpu.
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: The models up from this one have corsair link and some nicer features. May upgrade this sometime to dual fan thicker radiator model, I am on 130watt cpu. Ran for 3 days on bench checked for noise/ leaks/issues before installing into PC. The price I got this for made it worth trying , I have two units in my pc now on the GPU's they work great. figured got room for third radiator.... I guess I better use it.
EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 06G-P4-1996-KR 6GB HYBRID GAMING
Pros: easy setup long hoses cold running gpu cooler master EVO HB lan box held two of these fine GPU temps holding under 50c under load fans 22% (squirrel cage blower fans on cards) silent
Cons: stock 120mm fans that come with the cards are two wire and not temperature controlled and run wide open always. even if not needed (idle gpu) so they can be noisy. replaced stock 120mm fans with some quieter units that are controlled by gpu temps. Now they are close to silent SLI setup.
Overall Review: Good cards for running cool under load. great if motherboard spacing is close together. Make sure you have room for two radiators in your case. even though stock 120mm fans are 2 wire noisy units, easily remedied. after installing the two factory 120 mm fans on radiators were loudest noises coming from PC. not bad enough to take eggs away. you can run the 120's @ 12 or 7 or 5VDC with any atx PSU. and make these cards almost silent and still run cool under heavy load. My mainboard has slot spacing close (to fit 4 GPU) I had a few cards in SLI in this system (2x 780TI and 2x 980) 780Ti would get very warm in my case because of space between cards and a ceton infinity 4 cablecard tuner PCIe card block fans. so now these water cooled cards run chilling. happy camper would buy again and recommend
no brainer if you need this type of item
Pros: easy to see 4 blue LED's showing state of charge of batteries makes my astro a50 wireless headset stay wireless even when the batteries need charged.
Cons: won't recharge my debit card :)
Overall Review: not sure how many times I can recharge this, but my use is for a astro a50 headset and I have charged them 6 times and the Anker stiill has 3 LED lit for 75% charge (I have never charged it yet)
