Works
Pros: It works. Really not much to say.
Cons: Uhh... 34 cards don't sit that nicely in 54 slots... None really.
Overall Review: Make shure your expresscard slot is recognized in your OS... Cant get the TI based one to work in Linux. (maybe I'll try Ubuntu livecd to see if it recognizes it and modinfo that) All my externals are EXT3 except for a single 250GB partition on a terabyte drive.
Kind of OK...
Pros: Cheap... 6 SATA using eSATA.
Cons: It would be an OK board for a light desktop likely... buuuut... Don't expect anything bandwidth heavy. The Ethernet drivers are absolute trash. System is randomly rebooting because they can't stay loaded with high bandwidth. This makes the board UNACCEPTABLE. I've had the board too long before I was able to test so I can't even return and get something that will work. If you plan to use the network, look elsewhere. Don't expect old PCI card add on roms to boot. (SATA, IDE, or PXE Ethernet Cards)
Overall Review: Test this board as soon as you get it in the intended environment.
Scan Lines & Win 7 Support
Pros: 3D, good price.
Cons: After using 120hz 3D, scan lines appear everywhere. No brightness control or anything else in Windows 7. Haven't released drivers... ViewSonic is usually great but the lack of Windows7 drivers on this "High End" monitor is a killer.
More Consumer Trash
Pros: Linux
Cons: Eats ink like no other. It downs the cartages. It's working out to more than a dollar a page, not photo's or photo quality ether. Loud, it makes a ton of noise after every print doing something. It's not like a DotMatrix but it's annoying. Rather put up with a black and white dot matrix for my text with the cost.
Overall Review: Good beyond the fact it's expensive. Should have just dropped for a laser.
Strobe...
Pros: Stays cool. Vertical stand. Stable (Large file copy's do not fail)
Cons: I'm usualy not one to complain about a bright LED and such but... This one is (d word removed) annoying. It's not bright as usual complaints I see but when data copys the orange LED goes like a mad nut. See the light on the front of many computers that flashes really fast during data transfer. It's that just along the whole front panel. Not bad on occasion but when transferring a terabyte of data to it'll drive you bat(s word removed) insane.
Overall Review: Great quality case all in all. The activity light might get murdered though.
