Pros: Screen and colors are awesome. Very stylish, thin and expensive looking with the aluminum case. Super fast!

Cons: Windows 8! I much prefer the screen graphics and operating system of my old laptop. The new HP ENVY resolution is so great that, on AOL especially, it's difficult to find a sweet spot font that's not too small or too large. Maybe I'll warm to Windows 8 - but I doubt it.

Overall Review: This is the second HP ENVY that I have had. The first started out as being touchy and quirky - then progressed to a failure of the touchscreen function. Newegg took it back without any question - they even paid for the return shipping. The one I have now works well. It is blazing fast on startup. Really unbelievable how fast it is. I can get 2-3 hours of web surfing and word processing on a battery charge....not great, but adequate for my usage.
