Works on P67 Sabertooth
Pros: Quiet below 2500 rpm. Moves a lot of air (for a 50mm fan). Replaced Startech fan that failed.
Cons: Need M3 x 30mm screws to mount to P67 Sabertooth.
Overall Review: Use bios to keep fan quiet.
Buzzing after 2 weeks
Pros: Fit P67 Sabertooth perfectly. Was quiet, worked acceptably.
Cons: Started buzzing and vibrating as if it were dragging a fan blade. Became loudest fan in case.
Overall Review: Replaced it with this: N82E16835119054 Evercool 50x 20mm. Quiet below 2500 rpm and cools Sabertooth better.
Excellent mobo
Pros: Mostly excellent arrangement of slots and connections. 5 Way optimization program works extremely well. Took 5930k to 4.4 GHz with 1.32v, I then manually bumped the cpu up to 4.5 GHz at 1.33v UEFI is nice and easy to use. Excellent feature set for the price Lots of features to play with in the future.
Cons: M.2 SSD mount is located directly over the TPU chip. Currently M.2 ssd's are giving off a lot of heat.
Good Overclocker!
Pros: I have this cpu installed on an Asus X99-A and it overclocks very well: 4.5GHz at 1.331v. Blazes through every test I have thrown at it. Runs much cooler (on a custom water loop) than the online reviews led me to believe it would.
Cons: A lot of extra money to get all 40 pcie lines. Uses a lot of power during intensive applications.
Great case
Pros: Roomy, great looking, quiet. Lots of room for cables behind mobo tray, removeable hdd cage, black interior. Could be used for a gaming rig as long as the gpu's exhaust their heat out the back.
Cons: Comes with two 800 rpm fans, should come with three. Or better yet, two 800's in front and one 1000-1200 in the back. Had to buy somewhere else because Newegg wasn't carrying it yet.
Overall Review: Built a friend a business oriented computer. Cooled an OC'ed q9650 with a hyper212 and a low end gpu and it remained cool and quiet.
Great Card
Pros: Huge performance increase over sli'ed 9800GT's. With everything maxed out I got a big increase in max, min and average frame rates. Uses less power and produces less heat than two 9800GT's. My whole system is water cooled. At idle it runs 10C over ambient and only 22C over ambient during gaming. Sweet!
Cons: Loses one egg due to - With water block it is pretty pricey. ATI 58xx series is much more energy efficient PhysX is still not used by many games.
Overall Review: My DangerDen WB could not preform better. It is awesome! Combined with a 4.0 Ghz Q9650 is a stunning combo.
