Great working and looking monitor

SAMSUNG 20" LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI S20A300B
SAMSUNG 20" LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI S20A300B

Pros: I bought the reconditioned monitor to save a few bucks and figured, since it was priced equal to a low end monitor, it was worth a try. The monitor has no burned in images or issues that I can find to this point and the picture is amazin. I love it! Thanks Newegg for a great reconditioned product!

Cons: Not big on the buttons on the bottom of the monitor, but they work.

I've read good and I've read bad, but

Acer Desktop PC AM3450-UR10P (PT.SHDP2.004) AMD FX-Series FX-8100 6GB DDR3 1TB HDD AMD Radeon HD 7350 1GB Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Acer Desktop PC AM3450-UR10P (PT.SHDP2.004) AMD FX-Series FX-8100 6GB DDR3 1TB HDD AMD Radeon HD 7350 1GB Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Pros: First off, if you know what you're buying it for you don't just look at price and figure it'll do everything. With that said, it's a great computer! I purchased it to run a mill I converted to CNC and it might be a stretch, but to run both a cnc mill and cnc lathe once it is completed. At this point it runs the mill with enough processing power to play music and surf the net without tripping up the mill or the computer. I did have to add an internal parallel port to communicate with the driver board running the mill. I also added a logitech rollerball (due to carpal tunnel), a logitech wireless keyboard for convenience, and a lenovo multimedia remote with built in keyboard and roller ball as a pendant at the machine. I run the machine with Windows 7 and Linux and does fine for either. I gotta say, I'm impressed with all, so far!

Cons: I haven't owned a desktop in quite a few years, when did parallel ports quit coming as standard? lol. I understand CNC programs and laptop powersaving features don't mix well, hence purchase of a desktop.

Overall Review: I haven't liked AMD processors up to this point and felt sick when in one week, Newegg offered a combo deal (I would have to assembled the computer) with an Intel I5 chip in it for about the same money I bought the Acer. Since I bought a new rollerball and keyboard it would have been worth waiting, but oh well, what's done is done, plus I'm impressed so far.
