Perfect

Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 - Core 2 Duo Conroe Dual-Core 2.33 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80557E6550
Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 - Core 2 Duo Conroe Dual-Core 2.33 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80557E6550

Pros: It runs extremely cool even at 35% overclock (3.15Ghz). Everything runs a lot faster as compared to my 2Ghz Sempron. Overclocking was a breeze, and I haven't even pushed it yet.

Cons: Some people complain that the 7x multiplier is too low to allow for great overclocking. The stock fan was somewhat tough to get all the way into the MB.

Overall Review: I've never had a better processor--regarding speed, temperature, and overclockability. This thing is a beast. Works like a charm with the Gigabyte P35-DS3L running at FSB 450.

Yep, Stopped Working

SAMSUNG SpinPoint P Series SP2504C 250GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive
SAMSUNG SpinPoint P Series SP2504C 250GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Was very fast with two in RAID0.

Cons: Started acting up, now stopped working.

Overall Review: I had posted a positive review when I first received it, but I'm going to have to join the chorus of people whose HDs crapped out. It appears as though the SATA connection was loose; sometimes it booted up fine, sometimes I needed to adjust the cable. But now it stopped working altogether.

No issues after long use

Pros: I've been using these for 3 years, and they've worked flawlessly.

Overall Review: For me, these worked great. No problems after several years of long, daily usage (especially in these Work From Home days).

Great case

DIYPC Vanguard-V6-RGB Black Dual USB3.0 Steel/ Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case w/Tempered Glass Panel and Pre-Installed 3 x RGB LED Dual Ring Fans (7 Different Color in 3 Mode Control)

Pros: I bought this case 3 years ago for my most recent build (I've been building PCs since the 90s), and it's my favorite case of all time. I guess they all have come quite a ways. I didn't have cable management and such before. This case in particular is solid and sturdy; I like my desktop on the floor, so I enjoy both the large size and that the USB ports are on the top of the front. Contrary to other cases I've had, none of the USB ports have crapped out. The fans are quiet and nicely colorful. I installed air cooling (two fans at the top), and that worked like a breeze.

Cons: The only drawback I can think of is that the screws for the air cooling at the top have, over time, worn through the magnetic dust catcher grid in a couple of places. That's after 3 years of wear&tear, though, and with my cat often sitting on top of this thing.

Overall Review: I would absolutely recommend it, especially since it often goes on sale for under $100. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

Great cooling, but rattles at times

EVGA CLC 240mm All-In-One RGB LED CPU Liquid Cooler, 2x FX12 120mm PWM Fans, Intel, AMD, 400-HY-CL24-V1 LGA 1700 Compatible
EVGA CLC 240mm All-In-One RGB LED CPU Liquid Cooler, 2x FX12 120mm PWM Fans, Intel, AMD, 400-HY-CL24-V1 LGA 1700 Compatible

Pros: It was easy to install and keeps my CPU very cool. Like VERY cool compared to air coolers, and I've been building my own systems since the 90s. I'm never going back to air coolers.

Cons: One of the fans started rattling after six months. I took it apart and put it back together, that stopped it for several months. Then it started again. Now it's intermittent; most days it's quiet, sometimes it's not; applying some pressure usually fixes it for a while (something must be loose). I thought I could replace it with a generic spare fan I have, but that didn't fit. I guess I should have RMA'd it for a replacement when that first happened, but now it's a couple of years later and I'm used to it.

Overall Review: I would generally recommend it, assuming the rattling is an outlier.

Cools really well, but a fan is troubled already

EVGA CLC 240mm All-In-One RGB LED CPU Liquid Cooler, 2x FX12 120mm PWM Fans, Intel, AMD, 400-HY-CL24-V1 LGA 1700 Compatible
EVGA CLC 240mm All-In-One RGB LED CPU Liquid Cooler, 2x FX12 120mm PWM Fans, Intel, AMD, 400-HY-CL24-V1 LGA 1700 Compatible

Pros: Keeps my CPU very cool (my first liquid cooling experience). Install was easy.

Cons: Just six months into owning it, one of the fans has started rattling. This is doubly annoying: one, my computer is otherwise pretty silent, and now I've got ongoing distracting noise. Two, it makes me worried that it'll stop working and my CPU will not be appropriately cooled anymore. It's just overall worrisome.

Overall Review: Maybe my unit is the exception. But do your research before you settle on this (otherwise good) product.
