Works well

WAVLINK USB 3.0 to SATA I/II/III Dual Bay External Hard Drive Docking Station for 2.5/3.5 Inch HDD/SSD with UASP (6Gbps), Support Offline Clone Duplicator Function [Max 16TB X2 ]
WAVLINK USB 3.0 to SATA I/II/III Dual Bay External Hard Drive Docking Station for 2.5/3.5 Inch HDD/SSD with UASP (6Gbps), Support Offline Clone Duplicator Function [Max 16TB X2 ]

Pros: This Wavlink works well - EXCEPT - I damaged 2 drives copying from one drive to another drive a few months ago - they both overheated and were damaged. I purchased a USB fan and have it blowing on the hard drives ever since then (different drives) and it works well for copying, or for just haveing a quickly removable hard drive for backup storage. I like it, but with I had thought about the overheating problem before I ruined 2 hard drives due to the heat.

Cons: No cooling fan for hard drives - this needs to have a cooling fan, or at least a USB power port to power a cooling fan.

Overall Review: Great tool - after I added a cooling fan for the drives

Was DOA

HGST WD 12TB 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 3.5-Inch Enterprise Hard Drive (HUH721212ALE604)
HGST WD 12TB 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 3.5-Inch Enterprise Hard Drive (HUH721212ALE604)

Pros: This hard drive was dead on arrival. I've used HGST drives for about 16 years now and have never had a precious problem. I have several HGST hard drives still running great after bein on constantly 24 hours per day for from 2 years to 9 years in my current computer.

Cons: DOA - Tried it on 2 different computers just in case - but I've installed many hard drives, and this one is bad. First bad HGST I've ever experienced. Will buy only new from now on.

Overall Review: HGST has been the most reliable drive I've ever used - much more so than the Seagate and WDigital that I used to use (Yes, WD purchased HGST, but I'm told that they keep the HGST production the same as Hitachi was doing)

GREAT Drive

Hitachi GST Deskstar 7K3000 HDS723030ALA640 (0F12450) 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
Hitachi GST Deskstar 7K3000 HDS723030ALA640 (0F12450) 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

Pros: EXCELLENT reliability experienced over the past 6 years. Just bought this refurbished 3TB hard drive a month ago and it is working great also. Was packaged well so as to survive the shipping (where boxes are routinely dropped and banged around). I have several of these hard drives now - both new and refurbished.

Cons: Out of stock ..... again

Overall Review: I experimented with various hard drives several years ago and bought my first Hitachi drive 6 years ago. We use a lot of hard drives in our business for the various computers and for digital storage of photos, security camera images, and data. Have never had a Hitachi drive fail yet - but have had lots of other drives fail over the years. I still have a 500Gb Hitachi hard drive from 6 years ago that was still plugging along when I replaced it with one of these 3TB hard drives last month.

Works great

ADATA 32GB UV128 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive (AUV128-32G-RBY)
ADATA 32GB UV128 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive (AUV128-32G-RBY)

Pros: Works great - unlike some other brands of memory, I have never yet had an Adata memory stick, or hard drive fail on me.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Loved the 32GB capacity, and even though I now have larger memory sticks, I still use this 32 GB for carrying with me to work and back. I've learned over the years that I can trust Adata and they have never let me down yet.

Running well

TOSHIBA DT01ACA300 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
TOSHIBA DT01ACA300 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Worked right out of the box, and continues to work well after 8 months. I used to use only WD or Seagate drives until I read several reviews showing superior reliability of the Hitachi and Toshiba hard drives. I've been using exclusively Hitachi and Toshiba drives in all of my builds for the last three years and have had zero Hitachi or Toshiba hard drive failures in that time frame. This is a very quiet drive (as most newer drives are), runs cooler than some of my other drives.

Cons: None

Overall Review: 3tB of drive space sure helped my security computer storage problem. I installed 3 of these to store the video images, and it is wonderful to be able to look back months at the 11 surveillance cameras at my business.

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin PC RAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9

Pros: Works great, and fast. Noticeable speed improvement over the previous memory due to speed, and memory capacity.

Cons: None
