sweeet cooler.
Pros: Fans are easy to mount, and keeps cpu cooler than MB at idle. MB is 30c and cpu at 27c. Kinda awsome. I was able to unclip the bottom fan and slide it over a bit to INSTALL more ram, without removing cooler. It was hyper x ram, fit with no problems. Large contact plate, way oversize for 1155, thats good though.
Cons: Best for a new build, as you "must" remove MB! Pain, but you know, faster if you just take it out.
Overall Review: Sometimes when my IB 3570k goes under sudden load, temp will spike from 28c to 40c then plummet to below idle temp before stabilizing. Must be a heat pipe thing. without overclocking i havnt seen my cpu temp above 40c. Stock intel hs would get up to 55c pretty quick.
its......ok
Pros: Looks cool. Has a good fan. Fits large/long graphics cards.
Cons: Had to take off aftermarket cpu cooler when i decided to add a hdd to the system. Doesnt fit with cooler in place(its jammed to the front so its kinda there....)
Overall Review: I was happy till i added the hdd...lol take out the cage and just use ssd or external drives?
pretty sweet...
Pros: Price/performance is pretty good, handles everyday tasks in a very acceptable manner. Runs dota 2 no prob.
Cons: Really, the only con is its fm2 socket, i would have liked updated features. Cant wait to see kaveri
Overall Review: I run this at about 4.2 or so. The ability to o.c. Is a HUGE advantage for such an inexpensive chip. While its cost/performance is great to begin with, it turns into unbelievable with a stable oc to 4.2!
780=burn
Pros: I had it before 780 was out. Also, i recently got a korean 2560x1440 by-pass(single dvi-d input) monitor, which i overclocked in the nvidia control panel to 120hz. I now just freaking love running a solid 120fps on my fps games. You have to turn setting to medium or so with no filters to maintain rock solid 120fps with vsync.
Cons: Would have gotten a 780 instead.
Overall Review: Bro has same monitor, with same oc, but runs with a 680 lightning. It handles pretty good, much better value. ~i want a 780 lightning!!!
6x25@ 12v rails
Pros: High watt rating. Lots of cables!!!! 80+gold
Cons: Not single rail!!!! If you oc your 7980 alot, which i hear isnt to hard, you could potentially explode this thing, as the rails are only 25 amps each. So no 690, ares2 rog, or other high draw card and you good
Overall Review: Use for 600 series cards in 3 way sli, or there are better options
:D
Pros: With msi z77 and i73770k this thing is unbelivably fast. Got it for my brothers build, i was impressed by my 90gb hyperx, but bigger is better!!!! Regular hard drive seems faster because windows doesnt have to use it.
Cons: Not really a con, but i broke off the plastic part of the sata power connector on my 90gb and thought i bricked it. I checked a sata ref for a pinout and hardwired(soldered) it into my power supply. Works like a charm. It didnt break easily. Im impressed with the durabiliy.
Overall Review: This ssd is probly why my bro is so impressed with his new machine!!!!
