Hello old friend

Pros: Sound, comfort, durability and lifespan.
Cons: They dont last FOREVER!
Overall Review: I bought a pair of these cans in 2001. They lasted through endless recording sessions during a 6 year period until the cushions coating began to deteriorate. The particles would end up in my ears so I had to say goodbye. It was a very sad day. If I would have cleaned them after every use, I bet they would have lasted another 6 years. I use a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50s's now, but when I saw the deal on these KOSS UR20's, I HAD to get them! Unless someone is a complete audio nerd (audiophile), these cans are THE best deal EVER! The performance/price ratio is INSANE!
impressed? not yet

Pros: not doa XD hopefully some soon--
Cons: stock fan is tiny and loud. my arctic cooler from my old system is compatible with am3 but the measurements wouldnt fit right without pressing against the ram--plus the fan would be blowing air into the psu :(
Overall Review: bought it as a combo with asus mobo and 8gb 1333--put my 4870 and audio card on it and fired up without a hitch--it took 14 minutes to install win7, whereas my old setup--xeon x3210 2.13ghz, gigabyte mobo, and 6gb 800 took 16 minutes--???
well worth my $$$

Pros: I got them on sale with free shipping for less than 130 bucks!!! Pretty Sturdy. They sound good to me.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I just got these literally about 2 hours ago before this post. At first listen, I was amazed at the bass but then realized I had my gaming system on (with 8" sub); oops! Turned that off and then I listened again-- They sounded OK but something was still wrong. There was too much mid. I then A/B'd them with my pair of 8" Behringer Truths and realized the Polks were out of phase! I hooked my left Polk up backwards. It was dark-- ahem. Finally, after everything was rectified, I took a listen and was impressed. I record, mix, and master and wanted some normal bookshelf speakers for A/Bing and close monitoring and these do the trick. They are pretty tight. Nice clarity. They have a nice sloped off bass. I listen to and record mostly extreme styles of metal. e.g. Behemoth, Vader, Emperor, Satyricon, Dimmu Borgir, etc., etc. These are tailor made for those styles of music where you dont want or need a sub. They look heavier than they are. I prefer front ports.
hot

Pros: plays all my games 1920x1200 full high everything. has hdmi out. cools down fairly quick.
Cons: gets hot. fan is loud when on high. it overpowers my air purifier!
Overall Review: i need a new case with better airflow. this thing heated up my whole case. after swithching to manual fan control (set @ about 70%), the card cooled down quickly and so did my case and cpu temp. they should make mobos with the pci-e x16 @ the bottom of the board AWAY from the cpu! then they could switch the vga so all components are on the top!
Broken Sponge

Pros: ... A game for my son... ?
Cons: Packaging was BAD. No bubble AT ALL. Game case came cracked with pieces floating around INSIDE the game case. Fortunately the game was fine and I just replaced the plain broken white case with an EEEVILLL non broken black case. My son does'nt even play it.
Overall Review: This did not come from where i usually get my wares from Newegg, but Newegg NEEDS to REGULATE that. I wont fully blame Newegg.
NICE

Pros: Got it on sale for 25 bucks. Been building comps since 2001. This is by far one of the best function AND fashion boxes ive come across for a budget mined enthusiast. MICRO. If you dont have a modular PSU, you can always tuck the extra wires into a space, which seems perfect for it, so they're not in the way. It fits exactly what i need. Even a 9" GC! GLOSSY. The black glossy front makes it easy to clean, especially when you have kids who like to use markers or crayons on everything. SIDES. Both side panels have a nice tab to grab onto instead of palming them to remove. Left side vent brings in air.
Cons: When I opened the case for the first time, it wasn't filled with thosands of dollars, gold , jewels or some kind of valuable treasure.
Overall Review: Front air vents would be nice. I'd pay 5 extra bucks for that. Fits exactly 3 HDD's, 2 GC's (depending on your mobo layout) and 2 cd/dvd drives. Engineer airflow wisely.
