retail vs. oem

Pros: fast, quiet, no problems so far. as usual speeds are theoretical and will never actually be reached in the END USER environment.
Cons: none at the moment
Overall Review: OK, this is the RETAIL version hence the PH3300U-1I72 description. Yes it is a DT01ACA300 drive (which is the OEM version). Different packaging, same drive. Some time spent on the Toshiba website will verify this. Also if you zoom in on the picture of the drive you can plainly see what you are getting. What gets me is there are totally different ratings depending on whether you're looking at the RETAIL or OEM packaging. Same drive, what gives?
Piece of u know what Dlink DIR-865L

Pros: Fairly easy setup
Cons: Dead in a year
Overall Review: NO more Dlink for me. Three Piece of u know what routers in 18 months time. Started dropping wireless which had no range to begin with despite the claims. Now it drops wired connections as well. Finally will not connect to anything. Why can't anybody make a good router anymore? I'm a gamer so I'm a little picky when it comes to routers but DLink takes the cake for being a Piece of u know what router manufacturer or lack of manufacturer. Who knows who builds these things anymore. Unreliable junk is my experience with Dlink.
DCS Blackshark

Pros: Excellent graphics and superb realistic settings. You'll spend some time figuring this one out. You need a HOTAS and rudders to get the most out of this. I can't wait for the A-10 version and the new A-10 HOTAS.
Cons: Copyright protection is a pain. I don't mind some type but Starforce has major issues with a lot of re-writeable drives. Plan on using a regular DVD drive unless your one of the lucky ones.
Overall Review: I bought a plain DVD player and removed my DVD-RW drive and had no problems with copyright issues. All I do is games and nothing else. As for the 3 installs that people are complaining about, do some research and go the forums and you'll find out that you actually get more. You have several activations and de-activations depending upon your situation. It's kind of a complicated process but there are several guides to help out. And if you ever run out, you can request more for free, but don't complain or they will turn you down. It's their discretion on whether you get a new key code or not. Like I said, do your research before you bellyache and try to give a company a bad rep.
Nice cable

Pros: Price and availability
Cons: Loose connector housing on both ends
Overall Review: Can't ask for much more. Decent picture and sound thru an Onkyo 706 receiver and a Sony 720p television.
