Pros: Allows you to use less fans in your system.
Cons: Loud Fan. Tubes are too stiff.
Other Thoughts: Comes with 1500 rpm fan which is almost 31dba. Thats LOUD for water cooling and barely moves any air at 54 CFM for that high of rpm.
I found the noise of the fan to be the same as my stock intel cooler for i7 3770k. Thats why I wanted water cooling for a quieter system, so i was a bit disappointed by how loud it was.
So I switched out corsairs fan and replaced it with a cougar case fan. Which is 1200 rpm at only 18 dba and moves way more air at 70.5 CFM. So thats 300 rpm less at almost 13 dba quieter with more air flow. Thats is way more efficient and im surprised corsair is using such a bad fan.
In conclusion replacing the fan made the system even cooler and way quieter. If i didnt have to do that I probably would of gave another egg, but I wont be using corsair cooling again on my next build.
This review is from: Rosewill 2.5" SATA III Stylish and Screwless HDD / SSD Enclosure RX203
Pros: The case is low profile. Easy to swap out drives.
Cons: The internal controller is not true USB 3.0! When I was transferring my files of around 80GB total the speed was only around 51MB/s. If this was a true USB 3.0 device the average transfer speed would be much higher. I have other USB 3.0 external drives and they perform way better then this one.
I tested from HDD to HDD, HDD to SSD, and finally SSD to SSD and same speeds all averaging 45MB/s to 51MB/s. I then tested same HDD's and SSD's without this enclosure and was averaging 80MB/s to 120MB/s.
Again, it is USB 2.0 speeds only! If you need for higher speeds do not buy!
Oh, they also ruined the look of the case by slapping a big sticker on the bottom of it that includes the serial number. So if you try and peel it off it leaves a nice sticky residue. Not sure why they didnt just put the serial number inside the case. That would of been the smart thing to do.
Other Thoughts: Even on sale for $10 I would not recommend to anyone! It's so cheap its not even worth my time to refund it. I am just going to throw away or give to someone else that may need.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Kingston DataTraveler R3.0 G2 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model DTR30G2/64GB
Pros: Very fast!
When doing burst transfer of files around 2GB from 7200rpm HDD I average around 115MB/s. When doing bulk transfers of around 10GB the transfer speed is around 50 to 75MB/s.
When doing burst transfer of files around 2GB from a SATA II SSD i average around 200MB/s. When doing bulk transfers of around 10GB the transfer speed is around 80 to 100MB/s.
It's is also very light and a nice small size. The cap is all rubber and is a nice secure fit that doesn't just pop off. The rubber body is nice too and i have test dropped it several times. It is so light the rubber takes the hit like nothing and just bounces around. No damage at all.
Haven't tested it in water but this definitely looks like it can be submerged for seconds without water getting in.
For only $38 for 64GB it's definitely worth buying!
Other Thoughts: After doing a full NTFS format you will have 58.5GB free.READ FULL REVIEW
