Good Mouse

OCZ Technology Equalizer OCZMSEQRM Black/Blue 7 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
OCZ Technology Equalizer OCZMSEQRM Black/Blue 7 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse

Pros: More comfortable than other notebook mice I've used, variable DPI settings, nice blue matches my netbook perfectly

Cons: First one died within a week. RMA'ed back to OCZ and got a regular sized one (not the notebook version). RMA'ed that and got another regular sized one. RMA'ed that one and finally got a notebook one. Been working ever since

Overall Review: Minus one egg for the RMA snafu, but they let me keep one of the bigger ones so it's all good.

Great while they last

DFI BloodIron P35-T2RL LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
DFI BloodIron P35-T2RL LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Great Price point, rock solid while it works, supports quad cores.....

Cons: North Bridge heatsink is very tall and only a passive cooler. It runs hot and might interfere with large after market heatsinks. I had one of these in my system for about a year and it was running perfectly fine. So good I bought one for another build I was doing. Two months after I delivered the second rig, the board died. I tested it with my identical board and RMA'ed back to DFI. Got that board back and everything was fine. Then mine died. Nothing changed in the system. I reset the BIOS, swapped RAM, PSU, video card, and processor and the thing will not POST.

Overall Review: Screw it, I'm done with DFI. I bought a Gigabyte board to replace it. DFI's lanparty boards look nice but are WAY to expensive, and seeing how their middle of the road board (this one) isn't reliable I don't see me buying from them again.

Pretty good

Antec P182 Gun Metal Black 0.8mm cold rolled steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Antec P182 Gun Metal Black 0.8mm cold rolled steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Sleek look, removable fan filters, controlable 120 mm fans, can be quiet with the right fan speeds.

Cons: Sleek exterior is easily marred if not extremely careful, kinda cramped, bottom bay is kinda worthless as most modern PSUs are long enough that you have to remove the fan. Long video cards will most likely just barely have enough room unless you remove the middle bay.

Overall Review: Overall it's not a bad case. I got an insane deal on mine so I can't complain. If I had to choose, I'd probably have gotten the Antec 1200 as it's got more room.

Great!

EVGA GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 512-P3-N841-AR
EVGA GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 512-P3-N841-AR

Pros: Great performance for the price. Totally blows away my old 7900gt. Able to play all the games I've thrown at it (including Crysis) with no slowdowns.

Cons: Heat. You almost have to download riva tuner and manually set the fan speed high. When it's on automatic it likes to stay at a constant 36% speed which makes the core temp skyrocket if you're doing anything. Setting the fan to 100% sounds like a leafblower, but at around 60-68% it isn't loud enough to notice. eVGA's step up program and tech support rocks.

Overall Review: This is a great card for the price. To make the price point even better try to catch on a sale like I did.

Great

Scythe SCKC-1000 100mm Sleeve "KAMA CROSS" 3Heat Pipes CPU Cooler
Scythe SCKC-1000 100mm Sleeve "KAMA CROSS" 3Heat Pipes CPU Cooler

Pros: Keeps my quad core very cool and very quiet

Cons: It's HUGE, Difficult install

Overall Review: Given the size and weight of this thing I was amazed that the only thing securing it to the board were 4 plastic clips. Not only were these a pain in the rear to click home once the board was in the case, I'm constantly worried that they're going to give way and destroy all my add in cards. It's still a great product though.
