Good monitor for the price
Pros: It's exactly the same as the last Acer monitor I bought from a local store a few months ago, so having identical monitors kind of increases the "cool" value, IMO. It has a nice look, the screen isn't super glossy so there's no worry about glair/reflection distractions. I also like the onboard menu.
Cons: The stand for these monitors are pretty rigid, so there's not much room for adjustment. I'm not too concerned about this, because I plan on getting a dual monitor mount soon.
Overall Review: I found out too late it doesn't have an HDMI input, but that's more my fault than anything.
Good RAM
Pros: Looks cool! Comes with a PC badge/sticker to show off on your machine.
Cons: None, had these for a year now and they're still going strong
Great PSU
Pros: The modular design is a godsend, especially if you're planning on doing any type of cable management inside the case. The Voltage protection saved my PC a couple of times. This unit shipped with two PCI cables, even though I only needed one.
Cons: The 24pin and 8 pin MoBo power cords could be a bit longer, but can be easily fixed with extensions. No need to drop an egg over this.
Overall Review: I once thought this PSU had gone bad and ordered another one, since the new PSU was doing the same thing once installed I did more investigating. Turns out my MoBo was shorting to the case, and the PSUs Voltage protection was shutting the PC down before any harm could be done. For anyone with this PSU, if you plug in the PC and it automatically turns on just to shut off 3-5 seconds later, there may be a short happening somewhere in your setup.
Good budget gaming board
Pros: I love the rubberized W, A, S, D and arrow keys! This is a Solid keyboard.
Cons: Keyboard does not work at all during start-up on my PC. I'm sure that has something to do with the dual boot linux/win7 HDD in my computer and GRUB being the only OS selector available. I had to knock off an egg for that, as there is no remedy for this problem other than using another keyboard until Windows boots.
Overall Review: Like other people, I had the sticky A and D rubber keys. I solved this problem by shaving down the channels on the keys themselves where they ride in the slots on the keyboard. Give them a proper lube, and they work great! A good way to see where to properly shave the channels down is to look a the stock keys and try to emulate the way those channels look.
Good place to start
Pros: Looks good, comes with 3 fans including front fan with blue LEDs, plenty of bays for whatever you want to install.
Cons: Top and font fans wore out pretty quickly, but to be expected. That's about it though
Overall Review: Great inexpensive case for a budget PC!
