Great bang for your buck!

ADATA 16GB S102 Pro Advanced USB 3.0 Flash Drive, Speed Up to 90MB/s (AS102P-16G-RGY)
ADATA 16GB S102 Pro Advanced USB 3.0 Flash Drive, Speed Up to 90MB/s (AS102P-16G-RGY)

Pros: This thing is QUICK when it comes to to the read speeds. Using crystaldiskmark, I found it was EXACTLY as quick as the details said it was. ~100MB/s Read and 25MB/s write speeds. The body of the drive is also solid; I really like the aluminum.

Cons: As others have said, the cap feels lose; it just doesn't fit very snugly. I'm considering adding maybe a verrrry thin gasket or strip of tape so it'll feel more sturdy.

Overall Review: I did a sort of "real-life" test as well. I had a folder with about 4GB of files on it and transferred it back and forth once. Here's where it gets interesting. Writing to the disk (i.e. transferring from windows to the drive), Windows reported speeds of around 30MB/s before it started to drop, and then hover around 20MB/s. Not bad. Reading from this disk though (transferring from the drive to Windows) I saw windows briefly report speeds of over 500MB/s before it settled around 100MB/s. How about that. Either way for such a low price, what have you got to lose? GET THIS DRIVE!

Much better motherboards out there

Intel BOXDX79SI LGA 2011 Intel X79 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel BOXDX79SI LGA 2011 Intel X79 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Bought this board a while ago because at the time it seemed like the best of a lot of world. 8 RAM slots (up to 64GB), an internal USB header, oodles of USB 2.0 ports, and other features had me pretty attracted. Not to mention the Intel brand behind it, which is supposed to be rock solid.

Cons: Only two sata 6Gb ports, 6 sata ports total. As for the bugs, to get this board to work I had to disable the USB 3.0 ports for a while as I waited for updates to come out. The board simply wasn't as solid as I had expected and that left me feeling pretty disappointed. Now, this board is absolutely adequate, but that simply DOESN'T CUT IT when there are MUCH better boards out there, some of which are cheaper and have similar feature sets.

Overall Review: Getting this board now might be ok, there's been a significant amount of updates to keep it stable, but overall it shouldn't be anyone's first choice.
