Pros: In Multithreaded apps the 8350 and 8320 do very well.
The single thread isn't as high as the competition, but isn’t enough to bother me.
I bought the 8320 due to lower price and the fact that it was actually in stock at the time when the 8350 was sold out. The intent was to OC it anyways and being unlocked, it was obviously easy.
When OC’d to same settings as my 8120, I saw 90W lower usage on this chip. Was also able to get it to 4.4ghz at 1.32v on stock cooler. Anything more required higher V’s to get it done and had to go to better cooling. On custom water loop, was able to get 5ghz multi thread benchable and 4.8ghz stable.
Ended up running 4.0ghz w/4.4ghz turbo at 1.3v for 24/7. Been very hapy so far!

Cons: Power consumption under load could still be improved

Other Thoughts: If you do a lot of multithreaded task, then Vishera is a worthy competitor to Intel's offerrings expecially at the price. Gaming, the chip does well enough to not bother me since all game with the right GPU are well above playable FPS.

Pros: Runs stock settings with ease on the CHV with FX 8120
Was able to get 2400mhz so far out of them also
Using BIOS v1102

Cons: None so far, easiest RAM to setup and use so far

AMD FX-8120 Zambezi 8-Core 3.1 GHz Socket AM3+ 125W FD8120FRGUBOX Desktop Processor

Pros: I bought this chip to OC, and it is fun to do. Was able to to do 4.8ghz stable with 1.47v on water. Can bench at 5.0ghz. Chip has a 1.325 VID and doesn't clock as well as the ones I've seen with 1.27 or so VIDs. sen those bench at 5.3ghz on water. Chips run great on my CHIV F with the CHIV E bios. Also works great great on the CHV F.
When you compare RAM ocing in the mix the FX has been able to hit 3300mhz, which was never seen on Phenoms.

Cons: Clock for Clock, it is slower then Thuban, but in apps that utilize latest instruction sets, it really shines.

Other Thoughts: Looking forward to piledriver, hope the process has improved at Global Foundries.
