Phenominal

ASUS VW246H Glossy Black 24" HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000:1 (1000:1) Built-in Speakers
ASUS VW246H Glossy Black 24" HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000:1 (1000:1) Built-in Speakers

Pros: Outstanding price preformance Vibrant Color, Lights and Darks light weight(compared to my dell 2407wfp-hc) Nice industrial design

Cons: Color accuracy Stickers

Overall Review: I also have a Dell 2407wfp-hc. That monitor cost me 700 dollars over a year ago and still retails for near that price in most places. This monitor has vibrant color and lights and darks the only problem I have is "color accuracy" isn't as good as the Dell plus it doesn't have USB ports and Memmory card reader. but for 220 the Res, and beautifully vibrant(if not accurate) color is phenominal. If you aren't a graphic or industrial designer to whom color accuracy means something I would recommend buying this monitor write now. Again, great vibrant color, just not as accurate as a high end graphic design monitors.

good card, bad package

PNY GeForce 9800 GX2 1GB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card VCG98GX2XPB-OC
PNY GeForce 9800 GX2 1GB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card VCG98GX2XPB-OC

Pros: great piece of hardware

Cons: worst packaging i've ever seen, no adapters of any relevance, manual is for 8800 gt card not even right manual, horrible(read no) support from pny's website.

Overall Review: I'm not gonna claim anything about my own tech knowledge except that any person no matter how little they know, would see the short falls of this product. ironically the card its self is pretty good and a decent bargian if not for the fact that if i'd spent another 10 dollars i would have gotten the far better support of another company. first off this card came with outdated drivers, a manual for a last gen card(8800 gt), and not any of the right types of adapters, it came with a adapter to 6 pin, not in the least neccessary, and no adapter for the 8 pin power outlet, this resulted in a card that didn't work for a wopping two weeks. and cost me the difference of a better product package deal from evga or someone else. It seems silly to put out a decent card like this without standard parts to make it function. this is the second card i've bought from pny but it will sadly be the last.

Great first impression

Mad Catz R.A.T.9 Gaming Mouse for PC and Mac - Gloss Black
Mad Catz R.A.T.9 Gaming Mouse for PC and Mac - Gloss Black

Pros: Body Drivers Laser There is no mouse that makes a first impression like this one. The amazing quality of the mouse frame and body is literally unparalleled. Till you've held one of these no review can tell you what it feels like. The matte material is of the best quality I've ever encountered for a computer touch surface. after years of use wear is not visible(AVID GAMER and former DESIGNER). The driver and featureset is AMAZING!!! Weather rigging this for photoshop or for battle field you won't be dissapointed. The laser is the best I've ever used. I've used the highest DPI razor mice out there but this has none of the glitchiness and locking issues that those had. Its amazing for graphics work

Cons: Wireless Battery Design lifespan The wireless on this device is the worst I've ever encountered. A 10 dollar mouse has better wireless. I must keep the receiver no joke, within 6 inches of the mouse. Maybe my monitors or speakers throw some wacky interference out there but I've not encountered these issues with other wireless devices I've used. The battery after breaking in is good for 3-6 hrs of use(I'd expect tripple that). Changing the battery is not fluid, it is actually difficult to grasp at. The mouse buttons wear down fast, I'm at about 2 years of use and have to retire this mouse the left button won't rise anymore. For such a premium device this is really sad.

Overall Review: To this day one of the best build products in some ways and the worst built in others. This mouse would be one for all times and all users if some of the SIMPLE issues had been addressed, we know that wireless is easy to do right, we also know that battery life and interchangibility could be allot better. The least forgiving thing though is the mouse trigger. It simply needs to last 6-12 years. This is the first mouse I've ever retired for a button wearing out.

freak failure

SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 ST1000DM005/HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 ST1000DM005/HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: When it works it works, well. And its dirt cheap.

Cons: First HDD came in a anti static bag, no screws. It wouldn't let me install windows but passed all HDD tests I could throw at it, I formated and partitioned it over and over but couldn't get windows on it. One RMA later I get it in a plastic box with screws(strangely no anti static bag?) and it works. Curious... did they send me a HDD that was tampered with in either circumstance? I don't know what the packaging was supposed to be but I have a feeling I may have recieved a used device initially. :(

Overall Review: While I appreciate the products quality when it works, and the ease of the RMA process I'm left wondering why shipping and packaging isn't standardized. That inconsistancy left me wodering if I was sold a used part initially.

HA HA HA HA....

Pros: One pair worked.

Cons: One pair was faulty and the replacement pair was DOA.

Overall Review: Well I had a good time with this ram, first bad ram I've ever gotten, and I got two bad pairs at that. Originally I ordered 2 pair for the nice total of 16 Gb for a new build and low and behold when dropped into a system I got a memtest error, after 1/5 weeks of testing I discerned the guilty party (testing this much ram takes alot of time even with two test rigs) I RMA the faulty part with newegg, a slow but easy process that cost me nothing... 2.5 weeks after mailing it out I got a new pair in the mail. One of the sticks in there was so dead that if placed in a mobo on any of my test systems they failed to even make it to bios. I'm currently awaiting the replacement of that pair but I felt that 2/3 pairs being bad, one to the point that it would have shown in any test if QA was a corsair concern, I could soundly give this a 1 egg review, first bad review I've ever posted on either here or tiger for a bad product... HA.
