Good fob but don't update driver

NETGEAR AC1200 Wi-Fi USB Adapter High Gain Dual Band USB 3.0 (A6210)
NETGEAR AC1200 Wi-Fi USB Adapter High Gain Dual Band USB 3.0 (A6210)

Pros: Works great when configured correctly. Not overly expensive.

Cons: Large, needs antenna thing plate fully extended to realize full bandwidth. But that just might be my topology. Software comes on CD.. c'mon Netgear, it's 21st Century. 1 gig stick is $.99 now. Bundled network software is a joke.

Overall Review: I wanted to hate it initially since it gave me some grief, but with some massaging works fine. So 4 eggs for the grief thing.... When I initially installed software, I chose "drivers only". The moment this thing became aware of the world, It popped up "new version available" message. I thought, great!... and it installed the Ginny thing. Average speed 13 Mbps on my 50meg FIOS. Plus disconnect and reconnect every 5 - 10 minutes.... and upgrade removed all cached data, so I had to enter password again. I work remotely an d needless to say was a bit disappointed since my office VPN dropped every time connection was reset. So I got enough, uninstalled an "update" along with Ginny and installed original driver. Now connection speed is 57meg and no disconnects so far. Netgear, if you reading this, please fix an update and please include option to not to install bundled software. It's useless.

Garbage

Samsung VG-KBD2000 Smart TV Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard
Samsung VG-KBD2000 Smart TV Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard

Pros: Looks good. Nice idea.

Cons: Doesn't work reliably or consistently.

Overall Review: I don't know if I got a dud, or all of them like that. But keyboard I got in 2015 was made in 2012. It paired with TV initially, but was stopping streaming videos intermittently. Then it started to pop up a menu in the middle of watching tv. Mouse was working and not working. And finally it unpaired itself and stopped working all together. The bad part is that my native remote doesn't work now either. I don't know if this is because of the keyboard or not, but suspect it is. Bluetooth in my brand new $2500 TV is dead now!!!

Good for almost nothing

ASRock E350M1/USB3 AMD E-350 APU (1.6GHz, Dual-Core) AMD A50M Hudson M1 Mini ITX Motherboard / CPU Combo
ASRock E350M1/USB3 AMD E-350 APU (1.6GHz, Dual-Core) AMD A50M Hudson M1 Mini ITX Motherboard / CPU Combo

Pros: Compact, low power consumption, comes with CPU already attached.

Cons: Slow, HD video virtually non existent even on 18" screen.

Overall Review: I bought the board for HTPC use, but when connected to TV via HDMI HD stream just hangs. On smaller monitor I can play HD, but it's constantly buffering and "choppy". Even web surfing is slow. I regret buying this board, it's good for nothing.

So far so good

JATON GeForce2 MX400 32MB DDR PCI Low Profile Ready Graphics Card VIDEO-118PCI-32DDR
JATON GeForce2 MX400 32MB DDR PCI Low Profile Ready Graphics Card VIDEO-118PCI-32DDR

Pros: It's cheap and does the job so far. Easy to install and tweak in Linux since it houses nVidia chip. It works in mulitimonitor setup. This one is not exactly a "gamer choice" but still has a fan slapped on, which helps somewhat.

Cons: If used for what it's intended for, should be NONE....

Overall Review: Would have other thoughts if I could actually think :))
