Pros: This unit is completely silent. Had to put my hand on the vent to know it was on. Kicks out some pretty cool air. No noise difference raising the air flow.

Cons: It doesn't ship with a AC adapter. There is a USB cable that plugs into your notebook to serve as a power source, but it require that you have a USB slot available. Consider your USB situation before you buy this.

Pros: With a AC adapter, this product does work. Can only switch to a different HDMI channel if the input device device is turned on. The device automatically switches to the first input device that was turned on which is sort of convenient if you don't have all three inputs on.

Cons: Does not include an adapter. Although the box does say, "No power needed for standard product", this is not true. Had to purchase a 5V AC adapter with a 3.0mm O.D/1.1mm I.D. head. Other sized heads might fit more securely, but that was the only one Radio Shack could get to fit.

Overall Review: Be sure to pick up an AC adapter prior to using the device. Almost returned it as a DOA product.
