Excellent Product with easy installation. Great temperatures
Pros: Keeps up with Ryzen R7 1800x @ 4.1GHz without breaking a sweat.
Cons: None that are the fault of Corsair, please read the 'Other' for more on this.
Overall Review: If you have a Ryzen X series processor there is a 20º C temperature offset. Since the higher temperature is reported to the AIO it tries to run the fans at a very high speed nearly all the time. Ended up having to unplug the fans from the pump, and drive them via the motherboard where I could control the fan curves. I have opened a technical ticket with Corsair to see if I can get this resolved... If there is not a fix from the firmware on the pump, you will probably have to do what I did... and just drive the fans from the motherboard.
Careful of your memory selection, and you could have a monster!
Pros: Overclocking aside this CPU is faster than my old outgoing 3570k @ 4.5GHz. During the last two weeks I have seen that my gaming sessions have been noticeably more smooth, with far less stutter. Temperatures have been quite low, and very stable. Performance out of the box was not what I expected, but after a BIOS revision or two, there has been a massive improvement with memory support, and performance.
Cons: Performance may not be what you expect right out of the box. You may need to adjust settings, tinker, and update BIOS to get the best performance possible. You have to be extremely careful with your memory choices. Single sided Samsung B-Die seems to have the best compatability, and will help greatly with overall performance.
Overall Review: If you are willing to do a little research, make some settings changes, update some BIOS, and be careful of what memory you choose for your build, the Ryzen processor can be a serious performance CPU.
Stable power for the masses
Pros: Delivers 12v to two Visiontek 4870 cards, x6 processor, and 4 HDDs without a ripple. This is exactly what a power supply is for. Quality power delivered without hesitation.
Cons: This has a lot of cable to it. Do not purchase this power supply if you are not willing to make an effort with the cable management. PC Power & Cooling has made it clear that they don't do modular... and why.
Overall Review: For the price I can not think of a finer power supply. It earns its reputation, and its 5 eggs.
HTCMogul PPC-6800
Pros: Excellent keyboard, touch sensitivity, speed, overall a great little PDA Phone. 8GB SDHC card confirmed with the upgraded ROM. Settings -> Task Manager -> Button -> End programs by tapping "X" ... That clears up the background processes getting out of control. GPS Navigation built in.
Cons: Small touchscreen, and fairly low resolution. On par for this category however. Not really a Con exactly...but For this much money HTC could have made it a bit bigger.
Overall Review: With the addition of a few programs, and making a few settings changes the HTC Mogul is one of the best PDA phones available. Spend a bit of money on some software such as Opera browser, Spb Pocket Plus, and Google Maps. This will improve your experience by a great deal. Good luck.
End of an Era
Pros: This is pretty much the last that you will see of the Sckt 939 X2 processors. As usual AMD has the best bang for the buck... and this is no exception. I have purchased 3 of these processors. And on stock air cooling the average overclock was a bit over 2.7GHz
Cons: N/A
Overall Review: With this low price, and high performance... I believe that this is a no brainer.
U3 issues, and removal
Pros: Fantastic design, durable, quick.
Cons: U3 software installed, but that is easy to remove.
Overall Review: www.u3.com/uninstall/ or search for "U3 Removal" and follow the instructions.
