Good upgrade
Pros: Got this for Christmas to replace the XFX 9800 GTX that was in my computer when I got it. This card being much shorter is a definite plus as the 9800 sat on top of my SATA ports. Now I don't have to pull the video card to do anything with SATA cables. I now only have to use 1 of the 6-pin power connectors which neatens up the inside of my case a little bit. This card runs about the same temperatures during gaming but with much less fan noise which I like very much.
Cons: No SLI support.
Good headset
Pros: These are fairly comfortable and sound very good for the price. I got my pair locally in October of 2010 and I wear them for hours at a time while gaming and they don't bother me. They aren't overly heavy for being as large as they are and the cushions are soft which helps also. I wear glasses and some headsets I've tried pressed hard on the earpieces and hurt, but not these. People I talk to via various VoIP services all say I'm clear and easy to understand. Music and game sounds are very good at all frequency ranges. I have not had any problems with the build quality even though they don't feel quite as "solid" as more expensive headsets.
Cons: Despite the "closed-ear" description they really don't seal out much ambient noise at all. If somebody in the room talks to me I can hear them fine without having to turn down my game/music very much. I haven't gotten to try the "open-ear" version of these to see how much (if any) difference there is in how much ambient sound they let in but I was really expecting better.
Great drive
Comments: Very quiet, I have to put my ear next to it to tell it's running. Great performance for an EIDE drive. I have a 6 year old WD 3.2gb that is still running with no errors (although very loud comparatively). All my computers have nothing but WD drives in them and I've never had a hard drive related problem. Newegg/UPS always gets my stuff to me quickly. Keep up the good work!
