Fast
Pros: Fast Easy to install Works with no issues ..Comes with a cool sticker?
Cons: None
Does not work at all for PS3
Pros: works for pc to tv...sort of?
Cons: Does not work on PS3 pc to tv very questionable and hard to maintain
Overall Review: I bought this for my PS3 because its advertised to work for PS3. Tried every other hdmi cord i own (4) and all work but this one. Not impressed... This just broke my 1 egg virginity :P
Pros: Looks nice Responsive Batteries last a long time Good range plug and play in everything I plug it into so far
Cons: Shift-key lol...not a big deal for me because I don't write essays or do work/school with this keyboard, but its still pretty annoying.
Overall Review: It really is a great keyboard for casual use. Serious users will flip out over the shift-key (read other reviews for details)
Pros: Huge base Huge sound Lots of connection options Metal grilled speakers and woofer are great, everythings built well and looks nice. Good mids/highs (imo, I know many think these speakers suck but these people are often Audio-pro peeps)
Cons: At low sound, right speaker doesn't work (has to be really low...like bed time listening). Remedy is to turn the speaker volume up, and the volume level down on the device the speakers are playing from. Base ratio is pretty high, would be nice if you turned down the base setting and it just adjusted the subwoofer and not the speakers as far as the lows go. When you turn the base down the speakers themselves can sound a bit "tinny" because they also lose base.
Overall Review: I like these. Music sounds great, TV/Movies sound great but the contrast between both often requires a few equalizer settings to be changed or the base will blow you away. I also live in an apartment, and these things are absolute overkill in my room as computer speakers. I have yet to even turn them up past half way
Bugs, crashes...dumb media hub
Pros: I dont really know anymore...everything I bought this device for seems to not work. Looks cool, packaging was trendy, has good wifi range and lots of ports.
Cons: XBMC constantly crashes, constantly resets itself back to default settings. I'v spent more time setting XBMC up and resetting this silly box (about 6 times now) than I have spent enjoying anything it provides. I have another branded XBMC box I bought for my mother and it does not do this, I set it up once months ago once and its been great ever since. Minix does not work with Google Play Music...half of the reason I bought it was to listen to music. When you play a song, it does not play the next song, and some songs cause the app to entirely freeze. If you plan on using Google play like me (I use it on every device I own and love it) don't buy a Minix. Does not turn on via remote, you must press button on device. (minor issue) At first I used a lot of the same apps on my Minix as I did on my equally hardware specced Android phone. The Minix absolutely pales in comparison and lags horribly. My mothers android box has half the hardware specs and seems to run better than my Minix in every say.
Overall Review: If you plan on using this box for Google Play Music, don't bother because it does not work. Every time I have had to reset this box and set it all back up again I regret not simply sending it back for a refund. I dont even use it now out of pure frustration and the fact it doesn't do much of what I thought it would, and when it does its like pulling teeth with lag, crashes, freezing...
MX2 Review
Pros: Small Cheap Works out of the box, both android and xbmc work well No more Cable TV Turn your old TV into Android PC
Cons: Blue light is VERY bright. Remote is neat...but useless because you'll want a keyboard anyway.
Overall Review: I cannot for the life of me manually update to 1.2. Toothpick method constantly takes me to recovery 3e. Besides this and the blue light, this is a sweet device imo.
