nice shape

Pros: I like its flat and over sized shape, and it is probably my favorite surge protector. Seems to be high quality built. I would buy an other one if I would not have too many surge protectors now and maybe if it would go on sale again.
Cons: Maybe the price, but objectively speaking and comparing to other similar products the price is OK.
Overall Review: I guess it is hard to tell whether the surge protection works or not, but assuming it does, this is a great protector.
broke after 2 months, while downloading win 8 drivers

Pros: Light, thin, gorgeous (touch) screen, decent specs
Cons: Broke after 2 months of use. Downloading drivers for windows 8.1, left it unattended for minutes, when came back the screen was off, fans were at the maximum, it has been a brick ever since.
Overall Review: For the money spent I should have gotten a better deal. Apple would have been a much better option. I will see how the warranty team responds but needless to say I am very disappointed in this product and in Samsung.
Looks like a solid drive

Pros: Bought a second one of these for a friend (after he did his own research too). I installed mine as a primary drive in my aging P4 w/ HT machine, and I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on it, which gives it a score of 5.9 My rig uses SATA I though, and maybe together with the slow processor and the older memory (albeit 2.5GB) could adversely affect the performance test negatively. I don't think this is a bad score though. Aside from the specs, which are a little better than other, like bigger cache (32MB), slightly faster seek time, there is the 5 years warranty too. Then there are lots of good reviews which is probably indirect proof that statistically your chances for a good drive are higher than with other. My personal experience has been smooth so far, flying colors on the Seatools tests, silent operation.
Cons: Not a con, but I don't know why they can't make larger drives as fast and as reliable as this one seems to be. I would have bought a 1.5TB or 2TB if the specs and the reviews were not so much worse than they were for this.
Overall Review: Based on the literature I read online, the failure rate for hard drives seems to be in the 20% neighborhood, so you better do your research before buying your next drive. I liked the 5 years warranty of this one not only for economical reason, but also because I hope the chances of failure are fewer. The newegg reviews can be an indirect proof of the failure rate too. Look for the percentage of 1 egg reviews for the drives with hundreds of reviews, and you can get an idea. Almost all those reviews are reviews for failed drives. Granted, not everyone with a working drive will go and write a review, hence you can not really get reliable statistics but nevertheless... I used that information.
Very addicting device

Pros: Beautiful design for the device and the user interface. With the 2.1 "firmware" the device is quite responsive too, web navigation is more than decent (not as on a desktop but faster than on a laptop tethered to EDGE). The app store is almost like a candy store to me :) I do everything on the device: e-mail, web navigation, documentation, news reading, facebook, games, music of course, YouTube but also Ted talks. Bottomline: I love it! I go to sleep with it, I wake up with it, and this is 5 months after purchase.
Cons: Battery life is on the low side, especially when you use the screen and wifi a lot like I do. I ususally charge everynight. For some games I better play plugged in. The limitations of the app store, but I do like it more than dislike it. I will not mention the gripes mentioned anywhere because although I would like them fixed I do not think they are vital to me. Now, waiting for the Iphone OS 3.0 I only hope Apple will not treat iPod touch users as second hand customers again, although they did a bit of that with 2.1 as well as with 2.0 for 1.0 owners.
Overall Review: Although here there are lots of advanced users, I find it very unfair that they review the device based on their jailbraking experience. So you use the device against manufacturer's recom, and after you whine about the issues. Yes, the device is not perfect, and I am looking forward to updates, but is my favorite device by far. I basically use it as an iPhone without the dogslow expensive ATT plan attached.
no problems whatsoever

Pros: Heat spreaders, performance memory, user tested reliability with Dell desktops (which I bought it for), no problems.
Cons: Price a little too high for this lower frequency memory
Overall Review: I probably could have buy a somewhat cheaper memory, designed for higher frequency, and it would have still worked in my Dell Dimension 8400. The DDR2 memories are backwards compatible, but I didn't want to take the risk of having some kind of compatibility issues, and I guess other buyers before me thought the same.
massive, quality storage at a low price

Pros: Low price, massive storage, good brand reliability, quiet (although my 2 years old 80GB HDD Maxtor that came with my Dell desktop doesn't make more noise)
Cons: The lack of the SATA cable. This is rather normal for an OEM version, however Newegg could offer it for a few dollars, and put it in the same shipping box. Instead they charge about $4 for the cable and $5 for the shipping of the cable.
Overall Review: My overall satisfaction has been probably 4 stars for this HDD bought from Newegg, just because of the SATA cable. However I gave it 5 stars because this HDD doesn't deserve less. I wasn't able to find a SATA cable at the local stores, so I ordered one from Office Depot for $4, including shipping.
