Pros: Speeds are as advertised, price.
Cons: Seems to be a high failure rate on the Blu-ray portion of these drives
Other Thoughts: These drives work well, when they work. It's a bit of a gamble, they are cheap compared to other brands but they seem to have a high failure rate with blu-ray media reading/writing. My first one was the 16x model it lasted about a year before it would start stalling mid burn, then it would start making strange motor noises, then started to make coasters out of blu-rays before losing all ability to read or write blu-rays at all. It still works with dvd/cd's. I bought this model as its cheaper and I don't have a ton of faith on it lasting too long, but hopefully I am lucky and this one lasts. Just a heads up, you can see in the other reviews that these drives tend to have failure issues.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Power output is consistent with rating, Comes with 12v car adapter and battery cables. Digital readout for battery voltage/current draw/voltage output.
Cons: None really.
Other Thoughts: I have seen some reviews on Am-zon about this saying it blew up on people, didnt work etc. but mine works perfectly. Its rated for 760w constant and I certainly get that and even a bit more (I did testing and this unit would do 780w for 15 minutes for me, it gave a warning beep but kept going).
This unit puts out a modified sine wave so its not clean power, but this is known and you cannot deduct eggs for it when its clearly labelled as such. I checked it with an oscilloscope and there are no harmonics/impulse noise from it although with mod. sine wave there are always harmonics im referring to unwanted spikes that go beyond the rated voltage that some cheaper units do (especially UPS units). You cannot get more power for less money than this inverter, its actually quite a good deal.
Pros: Fast as hell, Quiet
Cons: Nothing other than inflated price
Other Thoughts: The cards awesome, it blows my old 7870 out of the water. The card is solid and seems well engineered, I really like the back plate. It overclocks pretty well too, and with wattman you have more options than ever to overclock to the absolute max possible.
The card hits about 70-71c full load overclocked for me, which for a graphics card isn't too high. I highly recommend this version of the RX 480, just wish it wasn't priced higher than the originally released cards that sold out so quickly.
