Great mouse!
Pros: It has adjustable sensitivity, so it's perfect for whatever you're doing. On the fly adjustment lets you crank the sensitivity up for that quick turn, or turn it down for that perfect sniper head shot. Custom button settings for every button on it, sideways wheel motion default to side scrolls in apps to go with the wheel up and down scroll. Perfect whether you game or just use productivity, or anywhere in between. Even has a removable cartridge and nice lookin box of 2 different weight increment inserts to customize the weight for how heavy handed you are.
Cons: Not one single con at all. Everything works perfectly, and the software is great.
Overall Review: This is a must have mouse for any serious computer user. The second you plug this bad boy in, you can tell the difference in quality, even from very nice optical mice. Upgraded from my Logitech optical to this Logitech Laser. Never had a problem with Logitech products in the past, and they are still great as always. And, as always, great deal from Newegg. Even had free 3 day shipping!
More Fan deaths...
Pros: Ran beautifully for a while...
Cons: After a couple of months, for no known reason, one of the 2 started behaving badly. Checked the card and found that the fan had completely melted. Ordered a new fan for that one, ran another month and the EXACT same thing happened to the second card as well. Replaced the fan on THAT one as well, thing ran beautifully for a while, though I noticed the heat had caused some damage, resulting in a loss in performance. Now another few months later, even with a nice new fan keeping the heat levels well below the 65C the stock fans did, the secondary card has blown 5 of the 7 capacitors on board and completely stopped working. I have never in my life been less satisfied with a graphics card. I will NEVER order an EVGA card again.
Overall Review: If you are planning on buying this card, do yourself a favor and order a better fan for it as well right off the bat. Or better yet, just spend the extra $30 per card on getting a better card from a better manufacturer.
Pros: Responsive thumb stick, great default profiles for most of my games, extra LCD screen comes in handy. All in all, one great piece of equipment.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: The default control scheme works in all my games so far, except Force Unleashed 2 which seems to think it's a controller style gamepad. The thumb stick is nice and responsive, and the keys are responsive and sturdy. The additional LCD screen (have one already on my v1 G15) is nice, as I can keep game specific displays up in one and still have temp or performance monitors up in the other. The mouse style buttons by the thumb stick are great, and the 3 memory functions for the buttons being unique to the game profiles allows for multiple custom key sets for all your games. This pad is absolutely worth the price if you are an avid gamer, or even just a casual gamer looking for some extra convenience. I absolutely recommend this product. I have only had it for a little over a week, but I already am unsure how I ever survived without it.
Pros: Hands down the best thermal compound available.
Cons: Not one.
Overall Review: If you are going to spend money on decent PC components, pony up the extra bit of cash on good thermal compound. This stuff is keeping me at least about 5-10 C cooler. Might not sound like much, but under heavy loads, that 5-10 C can be the difference between a working part and a fried one.
Pros: Great Mobo. My 5870 was able to fit on it, though I had to put it down in the 2nd x16 slot (Slot 3). The layout of the board is very nice, and I love the onboard buttons & OC dial.
Cons: Nothing I would consider an actual con. I was just a little bit disappointed when I plugged my DDR3 1600 RAM in and it was limited to 1333 by default. Since it talks up supporting up to 2133 OC I would've hoped that it would actually handle these by default, rather than my having to manually "overclock" up to the default settings of my RAM. However, I had been expecting it as other reviews mention the issue, and the OCing was quite easy to do.
Overall Review: It's an amazing board. I highly recommend this board to anyone that is setting up an AMD based gaming system. Plus it looks awesome.
Pros: Beautiful picture. The color clarity and black levels on this put my old ACER 22" to complete shame. It almost was as drastic a difference as between my ACER and my old CRT. The signal selections are nice, as it works pretty much like an LCD TV.
Cons: It didn't come as a pair? As for anything real, the speakers are a little underpowered, but that's typical for built ins on anything I've owned. With a little tweaking I was able to get the volume levels on my speaker sets equalized enough to use the built in speakers for my Center channel, which is pretty nice. I really can find nothing honestly bad about this monitor, and am planning to pick up a 2nd, possibly even a 3rd because of my 5870's eyefinity.
Overall Review: If you are looking for an amazing monitor at a great price, and this is the size range you are looking in, look no further.
