Pros: Fast setup, easy to use.

Cons: Documentation is a little lacking! Needs more USB ports. Video output is advertised as dual monitor out, while true they don't tell you unless you want mirrored displays you must have one as HDMI, and one as DVI or SVGA. You cannot use DVI and SVGA together! I found no documentation on their website on this issue. Its fine as I was going to change the monitor to a new one with HDMI I just didn't have it in yet, so it was frustrating for the first day or two not knowing if it would work that way or not.

Overall Review: I am using it with a Surface Pro 2 8gb/256gb and now have 3 displays (2 x 24" monitors and the surface display) Works great. Update to the latest software if you install Windows 8.1
