Little package big surprise.
Pros: Small, Linux, Small , Price, Small, & Women think it's cute !
Cons: Hmmm , lost the mic when I loaded Ubuntu. will look for solution in the coming days.
Overall Review: I'm having so much fun playing on this Netbook. Fits easily into work satchel and is so light. And all this for so little cash. Took the installed OS off and loaded Ubuntu with fluxbox as the window manager and she purrs. Easily taken just about anywhere for light surfing or extra large mp3 player :-) I'm a command line junkie and this keypad is not that small that I couldn't do all I wanted.
Connection issues using Linux, Debian specifically
Pros: Strong Wifi signal and good Bluetooth connectivity
Cons: Initially my computer didn't powerup the card and needed to use cabled Ethernet to find and implement a solution. For those that may have connection issues using Debian Linux, I found this to be my solution. The card uses an Intel chip so I visited their support guide : https://wiki.debian.org/iwlwifi Follow the instructions listed and good luck to you. Intel's instructions worked flawlessly for me
Overall Review: For an inexpensive Wifi/Bluetooth card it's definitely a good bang for the buck solution. Highly recommend.
Needed upgrade that wasn't from TP-link
Pros: Dual band comes in handy around the house. Data hungry users needed the extra speed of 5GHz
Overall Review: Dual band comes in handy around the house. Data hungry users needed the extra speed of 5GHz. Signal is strong on both 2.4 and 5 GHz and Linux and Windows play nice with this card
More Than I expected
Pros: Good constant connection that's limited by my old wifi router. Now that I have a great wifi adapter, Ill have to upgrade my router to match the speed of the adapter. Missing out on 100 extra connection speed.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Inexpensive card that gives me the same connect speed as wired ethernet.
So impressed
Pros: Zen graphics Improvement over 2600 Ryzen
Cons: Haven't found one yet
Overall Review: I wanted to upgrade my CPU in a new rig, but didn't want to pony up for a new video card because they are so outrageously priced. Thought I could just use the Zen graphics until I found a good card to add to the computer. After using the Zen graphics , who needs a video card? Not me. I don't need much on my Linux build but to play Minecraft and the Zen graphics crushes it. Well over 100fps full screen gaming. Well done AMD.
Minor Upgrade
Pros: No overclock just stock speeds runs very cool. I decided to upgrade from FX-6350 to the 8300 , while at same time doubling memory from 8gig to 16 gig. Price was right and end of line for the FX line of cpu's. Swapped out on another computer running my original FX-4100 with the FX-6350. Sorta feels bad dropping the 4100 after all the good service it's provided.
Cons: none
It's a replacement for the same model I've used for years.
