Very Satisfied

Seagate Momentus XT ST95005620AS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s with NCQ 2.5" Solid State Hybrid Drive Bare Drive
Seagate Momentus XT ST95005620AS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s with NCQ 2.5" Solid State Hybrid Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Bought this to breath life into an aging laptop and it has been exactly what I was hoping for. My start up time has been improved drastically (also installed Win8 on the laptop so that might have something to do with it too of course) and my games have all seen pretty substantial improvement in their load times, around 20-25 seconds faster for some. Because it is the hybrid I didn't have compromise on space either and got an upgrade there as well. I couldn't be happier with it at this point.

Cons: No cons so far

Overall Review: For the price/disk size combo this has been the extra jolt my laptop needed.

Great little tool

OKGEAR OK4250 2.5" SATA HDD to USB 3.0 Adapter w/ Cable & Silicon Protection Case
OKGEAR OK4250 2.5" SATA HDD to USB 3.0 Adapter w/ Cable & Silicon Protection Case

Pros: Bought this to clone an old drive while I was upgrading my laptop and it worked quickly and efficiently. When it was done, I just plugged in the new drive and away I went. I have used it since with the old drive as an external as well as at work when our dock died. It has been well worth the money so far.

Cons: Feels a little cheaply made but you get what you pay for. The rubber casing for the drives also leaves a bit to be desired but neither of these things have effected its ability to do what it is designed to do.

Overall Review: In hindsight I might have ordered a unit that supports both SATA and IDE, espcially if you have old hard drives laying around.

Works perfectly

Pros: Installed and worked perfectly on the from the first boot and haven't had any issues since. I upgraded from the factory installed 4GB on my Sony Vaio EB series and it hasn't given me any trouble.

Cons: none
