Pros: Was Bought one for use with my company. Far too many good things here: -Smaller than Macbook Air 13 -As powerful as macbook pro 13 -Raid 0 worked out of box -1440p IPS panel is indescribably beautiful and clear. - i7 4558u is best in class for a 13 inch chassis -When running intensive tasks fans are dead quiet -Speakers surprisingly loud/clear for 13 inch chassis -Asus software minimal and mostly useful The REALLY good things: -Touchpad is good and the asus software is a benefit to windows 8 - Keyboard is easy to use, especially considering form factor -Panel is bright and works well in all environments Overall a beautiful and powerful ultrabook. It sets a very high standard for not only the quality of a computer, but the amount of power we can expect in a 13 inch form factor.
Cons: Not even cons list: -Battery life is good but not amazing, which is still impressive given the 28w TDP of the chip used in this laptop. -Web cam is average
Excellent buy
Pros: Fast and powerful. 1. i7 2. GT 555m 3. 750gb hard drive 4. USB 3.0 5. Good speakers with decent bass 6. quality case 7. Does not overheat. 8. Excellent, comfortable keyboard. Lenovo did a hell of a job putting this thing together, it not only has the hardware but a lot of little embellisments like the speakers and the case that just make it perfect.
Cons: Only cons I can think of are very minor: Trackpad is decent but not great and it is off center. Some of the buttons are small and oddly placed but its just something to get used to.
Overall Review: As mentioned before this thing does not get that hot at all. Lenovo has done an excellent job with this one. Even while gaming it stays decently cool. ALSO: They don't give which gt 555m it is so I'll list that. Shaders: 96 Clock speed: 735mhz 1GB DDR5 Vram 128 bit memory bus
Cheap and effective
Pros: Used to upgrade my brothers computer from a 256mb 8600gt. Doubled performance for him for nice and cheap. WoW and LoL play great now. Can handle 30 fps on 1600x900 on ultra settings, turn off shadows and a few things and it gets a steady 40-50 fps
Cons: Not the powerhouse of the low end like the 5670 but mine only cost me $60
Overall Review: Gets a bit hot but not really close to overheating. This in a case with exactly 1 100mm fan.
Good for the money
Pros: Quad core, great for the money, running a gaming rig and you honestly don't need much better than this for just about anything OC'd to 4.02 ghz stable with 1.59 vcore NB at ~2700 HT ~2200
Cons: Probably should have gone the 955 Oc route to save money. My mistake
Overall Review: Running in an antec 1200 one of the fans is broken though thermaltake frio cpu cooler idles at 35, 49 under load
Awesome board
Pros: This thing will blow away most if not all games! Used CCC to clock it as far as it will go and its stable, but make sure you have the cooling for it.
Cons: None
Overall Review: My system is actually bottlenecking this card in many games.
Great PSU
Pros: Great PSU, semi modular design is perfect for any mid to full tower.
Cons: None so far
