Truth
Pros: quiet and fast. Massive improvements over my previous xfx 5850 in DX11 games , in some cases 600%+ improvements.I was impressed how well my AMD phenom II 965 Scales the GPU. HIGH res future proofed
Cons: Freezes from lack of voltage in Crysis 2(had to take an egg), I either have downclock core or up the voltage to fix it.Driver issues from some games unable to load up while AA turned on or some games unable to read the 3GB memory locks the seetings on minamum, this specific issue is with all 3GB+ cards though.O btw idk if this is a con , depends on your opinion , but this card is wide , very wide measure your case , I have a large case i spend 300$ on two months ago and i can't close the door on it , but it still fits lol :P
Overall Review: I can't wait to buy another one for crossfire , I'll probely wait for 8xxx series ;
Issues after a year.
Pros: The MegaFlow 200 is quiet, and has lots of air flow, and fits in any 200mm case fan slot, unlike a lot of other 200mm fans.
Cons: I already own a MegaFlow 200, it came with my HAF 940 case, and it is still working perfectly, but the red one I bought on Newegg started making an intermittent rattle sound, it comes and goes about every 5 minutes, but has been getting worse and worse. When I watch the fan, I can tell it’s changing speeds, so I would guess the bearing is going bad. The only solution I have found is to disconnect the fan… The worse part is, this issue didn't start until right after my warranty expired, so i'll have to purchase another fan.
Overall Review: I bought this fan to give me extra air flow, since the HAF-940 only comes with 1 top 200mm fan.
Disapointing
Pros: 16GB
Cons: I preordered this ram for 173$, because I was looking for the best ram to go with my Z170 Fatal1ty professional gaming mobo, and 6700K CPU. It failed both XMP settings, I tried lowing the speed 400MHZ and still got blue screens, The ram works fine with the JDEC settings, which are a snail's pace 2122MHZ with a Cas latency of 16 nearly half the advertised speed... Putting the ram in Slot 2 and 4 didn't help either, same story after I updated the BIOS to the newest version (P1.5)
Overall Review: My mobo is rated at 3866+ ram speeds, and I even consulted with a so called Tech advisor through the newegg chat, so I could avoid issues like this, but that was obviously fruitless. I could of ordered something for less then half the price, and ended up with the same performance.
TN monitor
Pros: Display port, 1080P, 144hz, 1ms . comes with all the accessories you will need for just about any video card, high speed USB, very bright. Has it's own speakers, kind of cool, but will probably never use.
Cons: This is a TN monitor, I have no idea why they did not label it as one... which means it doesn't have native 16.7 million colors(6bit, with 2 bit dithering). I think this is the reason why the colors are off so much, the blues look, purple, the reds look orange. Don't even compare this with an IPS panel it will just make you angry. I'm using the newest AOC driver, and using the latest ICC G2770 profile, then I calibrate using the windows color calibration. But no matter what this monitor disappoints in picture, and color quality.
waste of time
Pros: High air flow, quiet and came with all the screws and accessories you need for install.
Cons: Very low compatibility. I'm upset that seller failed to mention, that this fan can't be turned around and installed both ways. This fan can only fit on the side and can only be used as an exhaust fan. So I gave it a try, I reversed my top fans for intake and reversed side fan for out take. Air-flow was excellent and fan was quiet, CPU runs about 2-4 C colder, but now my GPU is not getting as much air and runs about 5 - 10 C hotter. I am unable to play games without freezing due to it overheating, I have no choice, but to send the fan back
Pros: Graphics, coding and very fun . more about the grahics , when i first saw BF3 i was amazed at the adaptive AA , but this game amazed me once again , the lighting effects are very spectacular i can't even explain the rest. just get a Dx11 GPU and see for your self. RUNS well on my AMD CPU, i was getting between 92% and 99% most of the time. some seens it would consistantly stay at 99% for over 20 mins without dropping. I liked the cut seens and the story.
Cons: only issue i had was when i was just figuring out the new voltages for my GPU on this game , everytime i had to reload the game i couldn't skip the cut scenes ; which is sorta nice so you don't skip it by pressing exit when trying to get to the menu , but still can be anoying , anyways doesn't deserve to have an egg taken.
Overall Review: CPU:Phenom 965 x4 3924mhz RAM:1600mhz 8GIGs 7-7-7-24 GPU:7950 1150core,1575mem HDD:SSDboot/w 4x2TB black raid 0 this game is very rough on your GPU not a CON though, I normaly ran very well at 99% GPU usage on games like BF3 for hours on end , but on this game my display driver kept not responding i had to up the voltage a tad for stability.
