Pros: Just to warn you all I am a linux/freeware fanboy All my findings are directly related to Gnome Ubuntu 14.04 beta 64 bit! Sorry windows. The following frame rates were conducted by glxgears (sudo apt-get install mesa-utils) NOTE: if using glxgears and are getting around 60fps constant type "export vblank_mode=0" in terminal AMD 5800k APU ASRock FM2A88X-ITX+ X-boost enabled (makes a difference)\ GFX engine @800mhz ADATA XPG V1.0 series 8GB @1866 BitFenix Prodigy Midnight Black case (HAF imo) Open Source Drivers: 14222 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2844.003 FPS 13663 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2732.360 FPS 13595 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2718.943 FPS 13926 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2785.069 FPS cpu idle 2-5% each core Amd proprietary: 17067 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3413.225 FPS 18067 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3613.260 FPS 18287 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3657.353 FPS 18357 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3671.361 FPS 18269 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3653.689 FPS 17845 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3568.827 FPS 16235 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3246.916 FPS 4-9% idle each core AMD 14.1 beta: 17890 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3577.868 FPS 18139 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3627.691 FPS 18100 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3619.966 FPS 16914 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3382.722 FPS 17951 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3590.086 FPS 18201 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3640.178 FPS 18722 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3743.499 FPS 18340 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3667.966 FPS 4-9% idle NOTE: If installing steam you must have the Open Source drivers (at first) due to steam-installer looking for certain hardware values that only they have. If not they will return null and install will segfualt! After installing can you change your drivers. PROS: *Virtualization *Performance *Gaming - was able to play BF3 (campaign) on low settings on Windows 7 at about 28fps. - gaming performance suffers greatly on linux, could not get Left for Dead 2 at playable frames with 14.1 beta drivers (10-15fps). *TDP *Price/Performance - makes it a great choice for a low budget gamer, or a htpc builder

Cons: - Not as powerful at gaming as you may of hoped - Slow Memory will drag this APU down anything under 1866 - I recomend an after market cooler for this, the more heat pipes the better; copper is your friend!

Overall Review: This APU is a place holder for my Kaveri, its doing an amazing job at processing but lacks in iGPU performance even when pushing the GFX engine. Theres nothing more attractive then zooming out in my shell and seeing 30+ apps open, running vm's of windows 7 with aero and testing the new flavors of ubuntu. Only seeing an average of 80% exec cap, its a beautiful thing honestly.

good case, bad rma process.

BitFenix Prodigy Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case
BitFenix Prodigy Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case

Pros: I recently reviewed this product with shipping damage. -its a great case with many options.

Cons: I first purchase this case on cyber monday for 54.99, I recieved the case 3 days later with shipping damage to the cardboard box (handle ripped off) and a corner where the rubber flex feet meet the cage was broken off. This wasn't a huge issue but I decided to get it RMA'ed, newegg apologized then emailed me the labels, i then went to the post office and for the "low price" of 27 USD and some odd change mailed the 17lb case to california for the RMA process to take place. 2 weeks later I received the RMA'ed product only to find that I have recieved the EXACT SAME PRODUCT WITH THE SAME DAMAGE to it plus more shipping damage. Now I am out an additional 27 dollars i didn't have to begin with only to pay for them to swap the footings[top <-> bottom] I COULD HAVE DONE THAT. Now I have one whole side broken off. I relize some of you may not agree as to why I gave 1 egg but if you went through the same process I have, paying 27 dollars just to mail it back to me, im sure you would have wished for zero. I still highly recommend this case, but newegg has lost me as a customer. This is by far the worst experience I have had online. I will look else where to buy my build supplies.

Overall Review: The only way I can see newegg fixing this is if they offer to refund my shipping and pay for my second rma.

Laptop Fix Speaker for Acer ACER ASPIRE 5536 5738 5338 5538 5542 Notebook Built-in Speaker
Laptop Fix Speaker for Acer ACER ASPIRE 5536 5738 5338 5538 5542 Notebook Built-in Speaker

Pros: none

Cons: Incorrect product information, states in title that these are for the Acer Aspire 5538. Upon receiving and disassembling my customers laptop i found out these were the entirely wrong set of on board speakers. Now I must explain to my customer that he has waited 10 days for nothing. Sending these back all the way to china is a joke for 17$USD. Might as well just throw them away at this point as the company is very likely to charge me a restocking fee as well as out outrageous shipping just to get lost on the way there.
