Pros: Good price, good chip. Worked right off with Win 2003 Server 64-bit R2

Cons: Would not work in either 8x slot on SuperMicro motherboard, but did in 4x slot.

Overall Review: Glad they include low-profile bracket.

Cons: This particular one very bad -- started melting the red wire on the molex connector cable the moment it was powered up. I imagine it fried something, perhaps the DVD burner on there. I borrowed a PS tester after that, and the red Danger light came on when tested.

Overall Review: Hope it doesn't cost me a bundle in burnt gear.

Pros: fast, works well, good company

Cons: Only comes with Two Mini-SAS to x4 SAS cables (CBL-SFF8087-06M) Usually need 3ware SFF-8087 to Multi-lane SATA Forward Break-out Cable - CBL-SFF8087OCF-06M (2) unless you have a 3ware backplane.

Overall Review: Used a lot of different 3ware raid cards, all good.

Pros: Sometimes works well. Good feature set. If you don't like patches or fixes, this company is for you. $$

Cons: Had to keep about 10GB free on C: For a while, would only complete burn right after reboot. All of a sudden, mpeg-2 codec wanted to be validated again, which failed.

Overall Review: I've spent many hours working to keep this running. If I billed them, I would have been paid back many times over the price. Still can't fix mpeg-2 validation. They don't fix issues, just release new.
