Tremedous laptop
Pros: Amazing speed, plays all the games I throw at it just fine, strong internet connection through my WiFi and my work WiFi. Couldn't be more pleased. Camera works very well, nice and clear. Battery lasts about 4.5 hours on battery saving settings, about 1.5 hours when doing mid range HD graphics gaming (Dragon Age Origins at maxed settings and AA/AF) Haven't noticed an issue with the resolution looking small, something that other reviewers noted. It doesn't hold a candle to my three 24 inch eyefinity desktop set-up, but not expecting it to since the entire laptop cost is less than the 3 displays and the video card on that one.
Cons: Sound was at first a little tinny, but I adjusted the sound settings through the equalizer and it sounds full now. Had to figure out the use of the higher end video card through the hybrid system - you can left click on the game icon and choose "Run with High-End Graphics Processor" for games it doesn't auto-detect as needing that sort of thing (like Minecraft for instance).
Overall Review: Have had no issues at all and have been very happy with this lap top for work and for gaming.
Disappointing
Pros: It arrived quickly, excellent packaging and not damaged in any obvious way.
Cons: It didn't work. The cable doesn't interface with my ipod shuffle 2nd gen at all. iTunes doesn't recognize a device has been added and the unit doesn't charge at all. Very disappointing.
Overall Review: Got this because I didn't want to pay the $20 best buy is charging for the official one. Guess I need to pay for the more expensive one anyway. Not worth sending back for a $5 item...
Good while it worked
Pros: This mouse had a good weight for me. With the heavier adjustment weights I thought it was still a bit on the light side for a mouse, but nothing detrimental. Tracking was very good and I didn't have any problems with jumps or other odd responses. I really liked the on the fly resolution adjustment. It let me use the mouse, hand it off to someone else and let them use it at a different sensitivity, and then back to me without having to futz around with software.
Cons: Almost immediately the braiding on the cord began to fray. Out of the box it had portions where the cord braiding (a plastic cloth type weave on the outside of the USB cord connecting the mouse) was off already. It seemed cosmetic and not worth paying shipping to return so I just didn't worry about it. Then about 5 months in to owning the mouse, the connection with the computer started getting intermittent. After troubleshooting I determined it was a wiring issue somewhere in the cord and near the USB plug. The issue steadily worsened over the next month until the mouse just stopped working entirely. A shame, and something I am seeing appears to be common.
Overall Review: It is almost a good enough mouse to start trying to fight a warranty process. Not sure though...
Worked like a champ
Pros: Worked like a champ with my ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 AM3 AMD 890GX motherboard and Phenom II 955 Black Ed setup. Installed and ran immediately at the stated speeds. No issues at all.
Cons: Had no problems with them at all
Excellent and lightning fast
Pros: Checked out as 500Mb/s+ read and 425Mb/s+ under HD tune. Can see the speed increase in windows 7 ultimate boot time compared to Previous 200 Mb/s read drives. Very happy with this drive and no problems at all.
Cons: I installed windows 7 ultimate before changing the mode from IDE. There is a way to edit the registry to fix that though and it went pretty smooth. Not the drives fault. :)
Overall Review: Very happy with the purchase.
Buyers regret? Maybe.
Pros: Super fast and plenty of room.
Cons: Maybe should have just gotten 8 100 Gb OCZ Agilities for less...
