Most Favorable Review

Overclocked 5+ years, zero issues.

Intel Core i5-3570K - Core i5 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Intel HD Graphics 4000 Desktop Processor - BX80637I53570K

Pros: Overclocked this guy with an ASROCK mobo the day I took it out of the shrink wrap. It's been running at 4.3ghz since day one, hours at a time, through the bitcoin craze and all, with zero issues. Disclaimer: I've been running it this way watercooled the whole time. Even today in 2018, I have no problems running modern day games, the GPU is still the bottleneck. With an SSD and 16GB RAM, everything is snappy, and even though I've had the itch to overhaul the system multiple times, I just haven't been able to justify it yet. This guy just does everything I need it to.

Cons: These need a better cooler to work effectively within head parameters.

Overall Review: Just based on my experience with Intel's products, I would be looking at another Intel for my next upgrade. Though it comes down to who has the better overall product.

Happy with this board

GIGABYTE X870E AORUS PRO AM5 LGA 1718, ATX, DDR5, 4x M.2, PCIe 5.0, USB4, Wi-Fi 7, 2.5GbE LAN, EZ-Latch, 5-Year Warranty
GIGABYTE X870E AORUS PRO AM5 LGA 1718, ATX, DDR5, 4x M.2, PCIe 5.0, USB4, Wi-Fi 7, 2.5GbE LAN, EZ-Latch, 5-Year Warranty

Pros: Easy setup, large heatsinks, lots of ports for argb fans etc

Overall Review: Bought for a 9800X3D. Install was easy, up to date drivers were available at time of purchase. This board has lots of large heatsinks for your M.2 drives and plenty of ports distributed across the board for argb and fans. Coming from a previous Gigabyte board, this bios felt familiar but with more features. Expo and PBO set and good to go!

Awesome RAM

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL

Pros: Worked at rated speeds without problem Fantastic price (forty bones at time or purchase) Heat spreaders look very nice, keep them cool Packaged well OC even higher if you want

Cons: Honestly, at this point I can't really think of anything that I would term a con for this product.

Overall Review: RAM isn't super exciting, I just want it to work properly, quickly, and without issues. A nice look like this one has is a nice bonus. Zero problems installing, just had to correct speed in UEFI. Everyone having trouble getting to rated speeds seems to miss that part. Not the RAM's fault, 1600 is the highest official speed ATM. I played around with these a little and was able to take them even higher than 2133, though I can't remember how much, at least a few hundred more. I'm keeping them at stock speeds as they're already crazy fast. 7.9 WEI in W7-64. The hear spreader seems to be working well, they're pretty much room temp. Overall, I have zero complaints and am 100% happy with these sticks. They've given me zero issues and are an awesome deal for such a high speed. I'd say this is pretty much ideal for ivy bridge rigs, no need more more than 8GB unless you edit.
